 As you have not mention your college name so I will tell you the basic hostel rules.  In every hostel there is 24*7 electricity,  24*7 water,  ac it depends on your choice you and ac room or without ac, wifi it also depends on your college but almost every hostel have it.

There are some additional expenses like uniforms, equipment, journals etc like any other institution.

Reasonably feasible for a professional course. Paid semester wise, in 6 month intervals. Though there are education loans available easily through various banks. The fees are charged semester wise.

The city of kolkata itself is one of the most economically easy major cities..hence extra expenditure is limited.

Giving entrance exam for getting admission in Hotel Management Institutes is not important in these days. Its totally depend on the Colleges weather they want to take it or not. You can get direct admission in many reputed HM colleges without giving any test.

for hotel management,you can apply for:NCHMCT-JEE (National Council For Hotel Management And Catering Technology).

The course FEE for DHMCT at JP Institute is 92150 per year. The fee would be consistent till the course at JP INSTITUTE OF HOSTEL MANAGEMENT AND CATERING TECHNOLOGY. The grand total yoh would have to pay will be 368600 indian rupees.

As you have got 21986 AIR rank. The reason for you not getting selected can be your marks and rank.

Maybe, the college in which you have submitted your form or applications have higher cutoff then your score.As in every round the cutoff slightly changes by some marks every year and you are not selected in round 1 and round2, there can be a chance for you to get selected in round 3 as cutoff decreases in every round.

selection is not confirmed but you have a chance to get a seat.

Diploma in hotel management is a 3yrs course.

The average course fee is around 10,000 - 2 lakhs.

Diploma in hotel management and catering technology is a 2yrs course.

The course fee is around 50,000 - 1,20,000.

The fees depends on the college you choose.
