Candidates giving NCHM JEE 2019 can take admission in two undergraduate courses - B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration(Generic or Specialization).

Can any college admit that they can give M.SC IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT but without trainning as per the university guidelines after that --

Nithesh 19th Oct, 2018

Hi Subhajit Mukherjee,

Yes In most of the universities they give 3 options to students :

  • Not interested in placement
  • Require training and placement
  • Only placement.

The students who opt only Placement need not pay the fees of Training. So You will get the placement in low cost.

Hope your doubt is cleared.

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 28th Sep, 2018
Hello Aspirant,

Hotel Management is restricted to managing the operations of a lodging-related establishment, while Hospitality is a broader term that encompasses industries such as hotel and conference management, sales, business development, events, etc.

Both are good but it all depends upon your interest. You have to understand your inner interest and talent and that only can help you out.

I hope this helps.

Which is best hospitality management or hotel management

ruchika.chauhan Expert 24th Sep, 2018

Hello Prince,
Firstly, you should know the details about both the courses.
Hotel Management- This course helps students to become successful Hotel Managers, Hoteliers and Lodging Managers. Bachelor of Hotel management is a three year programme. Students are trained to become executives of hotels and learn the art of carrying out their duties and responsibilities effectively.

Hospitality Management- The course train students on the various practical aspects of the hospitality sector which include delivering good satisfactory customer service and having the ability to solve problems. A Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is also a 3-year programme.

According to me, hotel management can provide you huge scope and opportunities. You should choose the course according to your interests and skills.
Good Luck!
