Human Resource Management
Hi Yamini,
There are many State-level management entrance exams to be conducted in the coming months such as TS ICET (Telangana State Inegrated Common Entrance Test), AP ICET (Andhra Pradesh State Inegrated Common Entrance Test), OJEE MBA (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination), UPSEE MBA (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) and there are many more. The scores of these exams are accepted by thousands of state-specific B-schools where you can pursue MBA in HR.
Please check the hyperlinks to know all about these exams. Always check the accreditations, approvals, program structure or curriculum, program fee and placement report of a college/institute or university before applying for it.
All the best.
FMS is especially known for marketing while TISS is one of the best colleges of India providing HR course.TISS has its main campus in Mumbai and it is the best amongst the three options you gave provided your area of interest is HR.
All the best!
Rohit, there are no specific questions for any b-school's interview. All the interviews are totally conversation based and it depends on you how you drive the interview. By looking at the form which you must have filled up for each college or by looking at your CV, interviewers generally start the conversation on a lighter note. Then it completely depends on you how you are going to end up your answer. Because the next question is mostly asked the point or keyword at which you ended up your last answer.
If you are going to leave your last answer as open-ended then interviewer can ask you the next question related to anything in this world. So the best thing is to end up your answer on such a key term of which you are very well aware. That thing should be your strong point because most likely the next question will be on it and you will be able to answer it confidently and accurately fetching you brownie points. If you continue this procedure then no-one can stop you from getting admission to the college.
Now if you talk about preparation then you need to keep up with the following points:
See there is no limit for questions that can be asked in any b-school interview but as I said earlier be confident and drive the interview with your answers. That thing only helped me a lot to successfully clear my interview with IIM Kozhikode.
In the end, speak calmly with confidence, don't hesitate or try not to get stuck anywhere, It's better to ask a few seconds time think about the answer, arrange it and then speak rather than answering in an unorganised way which creates a wrong impression
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!
Hi Anubhav,
MBA in Human Resource Management (HRM) is a highly sought-after MBA specialization. It has evolved from being a course about recruitment, retention, pay and incentive setting, to a more rounded study of structured people management and human resource development. Effectively managing an organization's human resources has become a key factor in the success of public and private enterprises. This recognition has led to an increased demand for trained and qualified HR professionals. It has also caused the development of a career structure, built and nurtured around MBA in HR Degree Programs, which grows up to the highest levels in any organization.

Best college
In India- XLRI, JamshedpurFor HR and i repeat only HR, XLRI is considered the best college in India. Firstly, they have a specialized course for HR which IIMs do not have. (Only very recently IIM Ranchi started one) XLRI is the oldest college in India with a specialized course in HR. XLRI has a very good reputation and also many top level HRs are from XLRI only, so their placements are good.XLRI does hove a good hostel life. Also they have a small batch size which ensures you get to know everyone from your batch. They have a lot of fests, activities, etc. You are guaranteed to have a fun hostel life there.Their fee structure is similar to IIMs, in lakhs. And also, XLRI has no reservations unlike IIMs.
