My waitlist number is 83 for SIMC Pune. What are the odds of converting? Any idea of about the movement last year? Thanks in Advance!
Hi Rajeshwari,
There is very less chance of getting seat in SIMC Pune. last year odds goes till 20 . Your waitlist number are very high. So you have very less chance of getting any seat in SIMC Pune.
There are very fewer student you get opportunity to get a seat. This is as per last year record. Don't worry and lose your hope. Wait for time, but you have very less chance.
I have question regarding fms delhi. CAT 98.1 percentile...cs for fms 38.7..nc obc male engineer... 10/12/ggrad 77.9/86.8/72.8. 23 month experience. What is the chances of conversion fms if gdpi will cancel this year also? And alsk any idea about when will shortlisting of candidates date?
Hey,
You have a pretty decent academic profile with a very good CAT percentile. Since you belong to obc category you might expect a call from them but being a male engineer can create a problem. But still keep your hopes high. Since FMS consider the overall composite score, converting the call without considering gdpi score might give you lesser chances. You need to get a good score in them too. But as you said the gd might get cancelled due to pandemic but the PI wouod probably take place virtually. Also FMS might release their shortlist by this week tentatively.

I want to do MBA after completion my graduation in chemistry..is it a good idea?
Yes, you may consider MBA after Graduation in Chemistry and might be a good idea considering the career scope and prospects. You need to prepare for CAT as well as Other Entrance XAT/ MAT/ NMAT/ SNAP. Aceing these examinations with a great percentile, you may be called for a GD/PI/WAT followed by Final Selection.
