Sharon Rose Student Expert 21st Sep, 2020

Hello,

Considering previous year cut off, it is difficult to get seat in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs with such rank. You can check the previous year cut off for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs by the following links

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-nits

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-iiits

However, you may have chances of getting seat through state counselling. States like Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana conducts counselling based on JEE Main score so you may seek admission through state counselling.

You can predict the colleges using in which you may get seat through state counselling using our JEE Main college predictor

Hi I have been shortlisted for for ipm iim indore and they have asked me to send a 3min video answering questions given by them, will there be any further interview or was it a substitute for interview and any Idea when will I able to know that I have been selected for the course

anirudha vats 20th Sep, 2020

Hey ,

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it's quite difficult at this point of time to call students for the personal interview. So IIM Indore for their IPM program has replaced the interview part with this video message in which students are required to send  their videos answering the question asked. The selection of students will be done on the basis of this instead of the Personal Interview.

Hope that helps

Thank you.

so right now i have no idea about how to get admission in colleges so i need proper guidance when to start filling application forms for the batch of 2021, what will be the marks needed in JEE Mains to get admission in NSUT with btech in CSAI

anmol.chopra1212 8th Aug, 2020

Hello

First of all don't do a mistake most of the students does. They apply for only jee mains and then go to any private college.

Apart from filling jee mains form, apply for other universities also.

If you want to get into NSUT which is a TIER 1university then you must have a percentile of 99+.

If you want to get this percentile go for the scoring topics and just practice hard over them.

u have any idea for BBA cutoff in mcm dva college Chandigarh this plsss tell?

Harshit 5th Aug, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

If you want admission through 12th grades then it depends on the cut off like if highest applicant got 95% then you might get admission till 88% approx . If you have got till 80% you should apply for BBA . Go on the day of admission and get yourself in waiting list because alot of them get admission in BCOM later and leave BBA so even you might get lucky and get admission even if you have got till 80%

All the best!!!

Im doing BBA . in which i have completed my 1st year semester but due to this pandemic my 2nd years is being on hold no idea if im getting promotion or online exams would be held . so my question ks am i able to give CAT 2020 ?

Raja 2nd Aug, 2020

CAT 2020 exam will be conducted by IIM Indore this year in various cities across India on November 29. The eligibility terms for CAT 2020 are:

  • Candidates having a graduation degree with an aggregate of 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA (45 percent for reserved category) can apply for CAT 2020.
  • Candidates who have completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with 50 percent marks or equivalent (45 percent for reserved category).
  • Candidates in their final year of graduation degree are also eligible to apply for CAT exam.
I am sure, by the time of exams, things will come around fine. There may be some delay, but I think candidates will be given some kind of relaxation as to declaration of their graduation marks and all.
So, it is pretty much sure that you will be able to give CAT.

How can I calculate my all india rank on the basis of percentile. I want a rough idea. If my percentile is 95.17, what will be my all India rank

Kamal Kishor Chaurasiya 11th Sep, 2020

Hi aspirant,

You can calculate your all India Rank based on your percentile using the following formula:

JEE Main rank (probable) = (100- NTA percentile score ) X T/100

where T= Total number of candidates appeared in paper

You have obtained 95.17 percentile in JEE Main. Corresponding to this percentile you Common Rank list (CRL) rank would be 53,000 approximately. To see which college and branch you are eligible to get admission in depending on your rank or percentile and category you can use our college predictor tool by clicking on the following link: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hope it helps you.

Hi aspirant,

MCM DVA College is a private and NAAC accredited grade A college located in Chandigarh.

There are a number of factors on which cutoff depends every year like availablity of seats and merit of candidates. The basic eligibility criteria required is that the candidate seeking admission should have passed 10+2 examination in relevant subjects with a recognised board. For more updates check the official website of the college.
