i got 4000 odd rank in gitam entrance test.Any idea which seat i will get????is the rank good????

Anurag Khanna 1st Jun, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

As per your rank it is little bit difficult to suggest you for CSE branch because your rank in GITAM is neither very good nor very bad. It is average one.

You should try for Electronics and Communication Engineering or some other like Civil, Mechanical Engineering branch.

I hope this information helps you.

Ankit Dahiya Student Expert 21st Apr, 2020
Hello,
Due to ongoing CoVID pandemic all examination, admission, recruitments have been postponed till further dates.
As of now nothing can be said for sure. However there is a chance that schools night reopen in the month of June and henceforth the remaining examinations would be conducted.
However the best you can do is keep up with your preparation and visit the official ICSE website for any official notices regarding the examinations.

Good luck

Im a foreign medical graduate and preparing for screeing test (dec. session). Is it a good idea to prepare by myself with notes I made during mbbs plus textbooks and not via any online coaching or pdf notes they provide?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 31st May, 2020

hi,

see I suggest you thoroughly check the previous years questions papers , if you find questions are common as per your knowledge and notes they it will be enough to prepare for the exam by yourself, however if you feel that the notes are not enough to get a decent score in the screening test then you should go for online or offline coaching.

I got 80 percentile in jan jee mains and belong to ST category can I get any good branch in MBM jodhpur Or RTU kota can you some idea of last year students ST candidate percentile who got this colleges or should work hard for July jee mains

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 31st May, 2020
Hello,
You have good percentile but admission is done on the basis of rank. Many candidates have same percentile but rank is unique for everyone. This brings a big change in numbers.
If you have a rank below 50k then there is good chance that you'll get an admission. Previous year cutoff is not available for jee mains. You have reservation category so you will get more college option through categorical rank.
If you applied for July exam then you should prepare your best. It doesn't matter what it will happen.  Try to do your best so that you get better score then January session. Best out of two session will be considered for admission.
Hope it helps

As I get 80 percentile in jee mains can I get RTU kota Or MBM jodhpur CSE branch as belong to ST category can you give come idea of previous year ST percentile of jee mains of students who get this colleges so that I can work hard in July jee mains to get this college

Anurag Khanna 31st May, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to your percentile your near about rank would be around 2 Lakh. On the basis of this rank you cannot get CSE branch in any of the college viz. RTU Kota or MBM Jodhpur.

As you belongs to the reserved category ST so you will get some advantage of it for sure. In order to get your seat confirmed in CSE Branch in above colleges you need to secure 92 percentile or more.

You should try to prepare for the above target and for this we can help you, you can attend our Mega Revision Marathon for JEE-Main July session fully free of cost through given link -

i wanna take admission in ba english at st xaviers mumbai how did i perpare i have no idea please tell me

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 29th May, 2020
Hello.
In st Xavier's college Mumbai there is no entrance exam for BA course , for admission in BA course you will have to perform well in your Board exams because admission is done on the basis of your class 12th merit , and for that you should have at least 45 percent in your HSC board or in any equivalent board.
Best of luck.
