which is the best Sir CSE in IIT Hyderabad or CSC in NIT Warangal

gupta.virat1357 18th Sep, 2022
Hello,
IIT Hyderabad CSE is better. It offers better salary packages and exposure. According to the recent highlights of IIT Hyderabad, the average CTC for the CSE branch is around INR 20 LPA. Hyderabad is an IT hub and has all major corporate houses in the IT sector. For CSE, IIIT Hyderabad is better than all IITs, in terms of research, internships, packages, etc. In 2021, IIIT Hyderabad placements had witnessed the highest CTC of INR 56 LPA. The coding culture at the institute is unbeatable. For branches other than CSE, IIT B is definitely the better choice. IIIT Hyderabad has more reputation and is better in terms of academics and competitive aspects. In terms of syllabus, IIIT Hyderabad has an updated syllabus. For cse students, coding starts from year 1. When it comes to the quality of education provided IITs are ahead of the NITs. Both IITs and NITs are extremely good in providing education and producing good engineers, but at the same time the top IIT colleges have an edge because of their high standard of studies.
IITH creates a unique holistic ecosystem for education that offers interactive learning, a very flexible academic structure, cutting-edge research, strong industry collaboration, and entrepreneurship. This is an environment which enables students and faculty to translate their dreams into realities.
Most of the IIT pass-outs go abroad at higher salaries starting from 2 lakhs or more monthly packages through the Campus Placements. The job opportunities in NITs are also quite assumable! With a package starting from 8,00,000 or above and the chances of International jobs can be expected in NITs.
Around 20% students in their final year at the National Institute of Technology (NIT-Jamshedpur) couldn't appear in the virtual campus placement owing to poor internet connectivity.

Im a girl.i got 73 percentile in jee mains 2022 in 2nd attempt in obc category. my category rank is 79421 and crl is 247660.can i get iit or nit colleges?

Sevit Kar 9th Aug, 2022

Hello,

As you secured 73 percentile in jee mains 2022 let me tell you that there are less chances for you to get a seat in NITs such as Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad, rourkela, Calicut.

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

If you want to check out the colleges you can get , you can check out the link given below -

Sir/Madam, How many marks for st category in jee advance to get iit.... And how many marks i should in each subject.

Sanjana 9th Aug, 2022

Hey aspirant

When we look into previous year rank vs mark an sc candidate can secure seat in any iit with 80+ marks. There are total 2290 seats for sc in iit. You need to get a rank within range of 2500-3000. This is based on previous year pattern this could change depending on level of exam. i got 73 percentile in jee mains 2022 obc category. Im a girl.can i get iit or nit colleges?

Maitri Mandal 9th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

As per information your general rank will be aroud 3,15000 and your OBC rank will be around 63,000. With this rank it will be difficult to get high demanding branches like CSE, IT, ECE etc in top NITs or IIITs.

Cutoff keeps changing year to year. Keep in mind that your chances to grab a seat will vary on the following basis:

Number of seats available

Number of students applied for the same branch

Performance of the students

The category you belong to etc.

With this rank and your category it is really very difficult to get a seat in any NITs or IIITs. And if you want to get admission in IITs then you have to clear JEE Advanced first. You can go for state counselling and private colleges.

can I take part in nit councelling and register for JEE Advanced. then if I get seat in IIT can i leave my seat in nit ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 9th Aug, 2022

Hi

You don't need to worry about this because in order to avoid a case like this , there's a combined counselling for admission in NIT and iits etc i. e josaa counselling.

So you don't need to separately take part in any counselling in order to get admission in NIT , you need to wait for Josaa counselling which will start only after the declaration of JEE advanced through which admission in IITs provided.

Josaa counselling is combined counselling for

  • admission in IITs through jee advanced rank

  • and NITs, IIITs& GFTIs through jee main rank .

For details checkout

For Josaa counselling, you will have to go through following steps to participate

-----------------------------) Registration :- First of all you will have to visit the josaa official website i. e josaa.nic.in and then register with the help of your roll number and password .

------------------------------) Choice filling:-You will have to fill the colleges and courses in order of your preferences

------------------------------) Choice locking:-Then you need to lock the colleges you selected

------------------------------) Mock seat allotment:- To help you understand the colleges in which you have chances ,mock seat allotment is conducted before final choice filling and locking

------------------------------) Seat allotment result:- then on the basis of your rank seat allotment takes place.

------------------------------) seat acceptance fees payment :- If you get a seat then you have to download seat allotment letter and then you have to pay seat acceptance fees

------------------------------) Reporting the report centre :- You have to report to the reporting centre to get your documents verified. You need to carry your original documents along with 2 copies of xerox of each.

------------------------------) admission confirmation :- Finally you have to report to the alloted college  by at least the time of last date of reporting for the college mentioned on seat allotment letter for admission confirmation.

And .

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

Hello,

At first I will say, don't lose hope and don't give up in midway. As per your query, you clear Jee Main, so prepare for Jee Advance now. Focus your incorrect one and try to understand it.

Give your best and make a way to go into IIT.

Apart from this, the following list of colleges are follows as per your 69 percentile -

  • LPU Phagwara
  • NIMS University, Jaipur
  • Chandigarh University
  • Brainware University,Kolkata
  • KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar and many more.
