In Graduation
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that the eligibility criteria for MBA in Agribusiness requires students to have a degree from a recognized university with minimum 50%. It is not mandatory for any student to have a background in agricultural background.
I hope this solved your query. Good luck for your future.
To be honest, anything less than 95 percentile in CAT is going to be less for being shortlisted for FMS irrespective of the Academic profile that you have built up. A Candidate with at least 97 sectional weightage will be shortlisted at FMS. So it is important to focus more on VARC section while not leaving other sections. Higher cut offs are due to the intensity of the competition at FMS, Delhi. Previously FMS used to consider overall CAT score for shortlisting. However since the past 2 years, FMS has been giving sectional preference and weightage. VARC occupies the top position with 40% weightage. FMS Delhi usually has the highest cut offs for its 285 seat intake. FMS is one of the premiere Institutions and hence the admission process is never easy. The selection process includes 3 stage method. They are: Eligibility Criteria Group Discussion and Personal Interview Final Selection The basic eligibility criteria remains 50% aggregate for General Category in Graduation and 45% for Reserved Categories or equivalent CGPA from any recognised University. The percentiles in CAT are considered for the further rounds. In 2018, the weightage given for various sections of CAT have been as follows: QA: 30% DILR: 30% VARC: 40% An additional 3 marks are added to the Composite score in case of women for shortlisting. This score is used only for shortlisting Candidates for Personal Interview. The weightage for Final selection is as follows: Personal Interview: 15% CAT score: 60% Group Discussion: 10% Extempore: 5% 10th marks: 5% 12th marks: 5% An additional 3 marks of the maximum aggregate will be added to the women candidates who have attended the Interview.

Hello
You are eligible for SNAP exam if you have graduated from a recognized institution with a minimum of 50%marks or equivalent grade. There is relaxation of 5% for SC/ST Students so they have to obtain a aggregate of 45%or equivalent grade. The candidates are requested to go through the eligibility criteria of the course they are applying for from the official website or the given link
https://www.google.com/amp/s/bschool.careers360.com/articles/snap-eligibility-criteria/amp
hello aspirant ...
You will get a call from IIM if you touch 90 percentile or above (except for IIM A which has a lower cut-off) The overall cutoffs are as follows:
Most of the new IIMs have their cut-off requirement set at 85 with IIM Shillong having cut-off set at 70 in CAT.
What really matters is the sectional cut-offs for all three sections. You need to have the minimum cut-off requirement for each section, which differs from IIM to IIM. If you get less than that for anyone of the sections, you will lose that call. For IIM A, this sectional cut-off is the lowest, you need a sectional cut-off of just 70 percentile or above to get a call from them.
If you have a good profile, you have a higher chance of getting a call at a lower percentile, too. Profile in this sense would mean a high percentage / CGPA in your Graduation 10th, 12th and Under. Usually those who have 90 percent and above for all three will be considered for IIM ‘s call (IIM A for sure!) Apart from that if you are an exceptional performer in any extra-curricular activity with awards and recognition, you have a chance of getting a call from IIM.
One surprising fact is the actual cut-off date of IIMs goes on to show that for many IIMs, the actual CAT cut-off is much higher than what institutes announce prior to shortlisting for the further process of the institutes. Except a few of them, the actual interview cut-off of the majority of IIMs falls in the range of 96 to 100 percentile in CAT while the announced cut-off being in the range of 80 to 90 percentile.
hope it helps !
Hello,
Phase 2 rank card is not available yet. It will be issued after the completion of phase 1 counselling and freezing options of seat allotment. After completing the phase 1 counselling process the phase 2 results with rank card will be available to download. Subsequently counselling process will also be started for phase 2 students.
As you have mentioned that you belong to OBC category so for getting admission in IIM Calcutta you need to be an excellent student. Your 10th and 12th scores are not that good but since you improved such tremendously I think that the older scores would not affect you so much but you need to score more than 85% overall to get admission.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
Hi,
Firstly, let me be clear, what you have in control is your work experience and CAT percentile. You cannot change your graduation or school academic results.
Also admission in IIMs change very frequently.
Now coming to your query, you have got decent scores in your acads (school). The only drawback is your graduation results and they, unfortunateky, have more weightage.
Remember chances of admission is also based on your CAT score and WAT-PI rounds.
So start prepearing and I wish you all the best!
