The recruitment of Indian Army in physical states depends upon 3 factors

Your height, weight and age.

If you age is in between 27-30 you can be selected.

It will be better if you can lower your body weight by 2-3kgs than you will be on more safer side.

It is great to see your wish to work for Indian Army and yes there is a position for ,male candidates. The Military Nursing Service is restricted for females. You will not be taken into officer grade but may join as nursing assistant , the selection is based on physical test and written test. The upper age limit is 23.

You must have minimum 50% in total in 12th with physics, chemistry , biology and english with 40% minimum in each subjects. Physical fitness is an important criteria your height should be between157-170 cm, chest size should be between 77-82 cm and the minimum weight should be 50kg. Beside physical test you will also have a written examination. The salary would be from 33-60k.

As per the provisions, there are only female nurses in the Indian Army. This job is particularly only for females. The selection is done by the Military Nursing Services examination for female candidates after class 12. The qualified candidates of written examination are then taken for interview and medical. There is also direct recruitment for the female candidates who had already completed their B.sc Nursing. So, this job is only for females as of now.

The first post a Commissioned Indian Army officer gets is a Lieutenant followed by a Captain after 3 years of service (excluding ante-date seniority), a Major after 4 years of service and a Lt Colonel after 13 years, a Colonel, a Brigadier, a Major general, a Lieutenant General, a General, a Field Marshal, After Lt Colonel post, promotions are based on selection depending on the frequency with which positions become free.

If you are asking about posting/transfer, the first one is at your base station and once you complete your first tenure it depends on other base's postings and requirements. Usually one even gets to fill a preference form to choose their base preference from a number of stations that the department gives you. Its never decided beforehand.

It is subjected to terms and conditions which are as follows

• You must have undergone LASIK surgery 12 months prior to joining Indian Army
• You must undergo LASIK surgery when you are more than 20 years in age
• Central corneal thickness must be equal or more than than 450 microns
• Axial Length of IOL Master equal or less than 26 mm
• Normal Healthy retina
• Residual refraction of equal or less than + or- 1.0D incl cylinder (provided acceptable in the post applied for)
• Corneal topography and ectasia markers can also be included as additional criteria

If you fulfill the above eligibility criteria then you need to provide certificate or operative notes from the medical center where you have undergone the surgery specifying the type of surgery and the date.

For Indian Navy, go to their official website- https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/, then you have to create an account and fill the application form according to your preferred position.                                                         For Airforce, one must have to appear AFCAT examination or NDA to go through this.
