ACMS had a cutoff off of around

There are 2 ways of becoming a Doctor in the Indian Army. One is to appear for NEET and study in AFMC, ACMC Medical Colleges. NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. For a seat in AFMC, you will need to score more than 625 and admission is based on further tests like TOELR, PAT and Personal round of Interview. ACMS admissions come under GGSIPU. .Once you complete MBBS, you can join the Armed Forces as Commissioned Officers in Army, Navy and Air Force. You start with a Monthly pay of Rs.57,800 per month with a designation of Lieutenant. You become a Captain on completion of Internship and start earning Rs.63,100 per month. After 4 years of service as a Captain you are promoted as a Major and then your pay is increased to Rs.71,500 per month. After 7 years of service as Major, you are promoted as Lieutenant Colonel and then your pay becomes Rs.1,24,800 per month. And Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel and Colonel to Brigadier, from Brigadier to Major General and from Major General to Lieutenant General is by selection and you take approximately Rs.1,34,000 per month to Rs.2,11,600 per month. The other way is to complete your MBBS from anywhere like ACMS, AIIMS, JIPMER and then apply for SSC. Here as well the pay more or less remains the same.
Yes you can apply but you have really low chance of getting in due to your eyesight. So better apply to another thing as this would be a waste of time.
All the best!!

TES stand for Technical Entry Scheme and if you get selected you have a 5 year training and after completing it you will be awarded a officer job in the Indian Army. The eligibility criteria is as follows , you must have passed 10+2 with minimum of 70% in Science with PCM subjects and must be of 16½ years and above 19½ years .
The cutoff will be based on the cutoff percentage decide by the governing organisation. Since you have got 78% I expect you noy to expect any call from the officials because there will be many many candidates who have scored more than that and normally the cut off is about 85%.
Sorry but this is truth.
Thank you.
