Hi Rasmikanta,
Yes have cleared the basic eligibility criteria to apply for IIFT and Xavier entrance exam for management studies. However, make sure you get at least 95 percentile above to get a call from the college for further selection process.
I hope I have cleared your doubt. Wish you good luck with entrance exam.
Hi Prashant,
To get into IIFT you need to give an entrance exam which will held mostly in the month of November. It is mostly held after 1 week prior to CAT exam. IIFT exam pattern is same as CAT exam with .25 negative marking for the wrong answer and 1 mark each for the correct answer and mandatoryly you have to clear cut off of each subject.
Form will be out in the month of June/July for the registration.
Hi Aditya,
You have mentioned your past academic records, but you haven't mentioned your score in IIFT entrance exam. In order to be eligible for admission in IIFT Delhi or Kolkata campus, it is mandatory to appear in IIFT entrance exam. In case you appeared for IIFT 2019 exam which was held on December 2, 2018, please mention your sectional and overall score. Without appearing for the entrance exam of IIFT, you are not eligible for admission. Please refer to the following article for more information-
@page { margin: 2cm } h1 { margin-bottom: 0.21cm } h1.western { font-family: "Liberation Serif", serif } h1.cjk { font-family: "Droid Sans Fallback"; font-size: 24pt } h1.ctl { font-family: "FreeSans"; font-size: 24pt } p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; line-height: 120% } a:link { so-language: zxx }
According to the updates, there are no specific marks requirements mentioned for either class 10th, 12th or your Graduation degree. However, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks with a recognised Bachelors Degree is always more advisable.
The main eligibility criteria for the candidate is to secure more than 50% in the qualifying exam and a Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years tenure, in any discipline from a recognised University. There is no age limit for the candidate and even students who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for the exam.
I hope this helps your out. Please follow up for any further help or query that you may have. All the best!
Hello Aditya...your marks doesn't matter if you wanna take admission in iift ..there are mainly three steps...
1.written test(iift exam)
After clearing this exam you moved to point 2
2.Essay writing
3. GD or personal interviews
If you wanna know about it more...then you may again put your query in carrer360... thank you for asking!
Hey!
It’s difficult to predict for this year, cause till last year. Around 35.5 marks actually made you eligible for the next round, which is the PI and GD/WAT round. This depends upon the difficulty level of the question paper. As per last year, it would have fetched you 97 percentile. But, if this year question paper isn’t that tuff, or mandatory sectional cut off in all won’t be there. It wouldn’t fetch more than 90 percentile. It depends, plus you have to clear sectional cut off all. Not only the overall. Best wishes!
Hi shivram ,
If you clear IIFT exam ,shortlisting happens on the basis on your IIFT score.so the top rank 160-170 will go to IIFT Delhi .then next 160-170shift to IIFT Kolkata.
So,you can change from Delhi to kolkata,in case you wish .but you can't change from Kolkata to Delhi .as the whole process happens on the basis of rank .and just by filling the form for Delhi campus ,you are application for the rest.
Thanks.
