The general category cutoff for IIISC BANGALORE in 2016 was 295 marks and in 2017 it was around 280 marks. Marks keep fluctuating year to year as they depend on various factors like number of candidates appearing and also the paper level. So you can rely on ranks. You approximately need general rank under 1-300. So actually you need to be a lot dedicated and focused if you want to get into IISC BANGALORE.

hello,
to get admission in iisc you need to qualify in either kvpy or neet and jee main exam. as cutoff scores are different for different exam, it is really impossible to predict. however scoring around 90+ in kvpy has great chances for selecting in bsc course in iisc.

Actually IISC Banglore doesn't offer any btech programme. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in various disciplines of science and technology. It offers b.sc (research ) but not b.tech. For more and detailed information go through :- https://dqxeclau.top/university/indian-institute-of-science-bangalore
IISc Bangalore, on any day. IISc is the best institute for research in India and both the topics you have mentioned are fall under the cap of research. IISC is even better than IIT-Bombay let alone IIIT-Hyderabad. IISC is a research centric institution and you'll see research going there up close. AI and ML are the hot topics in research in the field of computer science today and if you are given a choice between IISc bangalore and IIIT Hyderabad, go for the IISc.
Admission in IISc is through the exam GATE.
