Hi Faiyaz! This is Neeraj Atluri.Congrats for scoring a seat in IIT.In Engineering you have large number of branches like CSE,ECE,MECH,CIVIL,EEE,CHEMICAL,PETROLEUM etc.As your studing IIT, Its your choice of choosing a branch because in IIT u will have all round development and you can gain knowledge over all branches. All The Best for your future!
iit kanpur select the candidate who have cracked the jee main exams. only those candidates can get seat who have scored good in their jee main entrance exam. no such nameas will shortlisted. only elligible candidates get teh information and admission letter. havea great future ahead.
IIT kanpur has got almost all other branches like CSE,ECE,Mech,Civil,Chemical engineering,Aerospace engineering,Biological sciences and bio engineering,Electrical engineering, material sciences and engineering etc.
As far the IIT's or NIT's concerned,
IIT patna has got the Mechatronics branch,
THE other IIT's like Kanpur,Delhi,Bombay,Madras have got ROBOTICS branch.
but,if you still want to pursue mechatronics then you can reach the mechanical branch of NIT,Hamirpur and NIT,Rourkela(it has dual degree along with mtech in mechatronics and automation) for more information (opening -closing ranks, course details ,fee etc).
so there are few private colleges which provide Mechatronics Bachelor's Degree in India as of now.
Centre for Robotics and Mechatronics at IIT kanpur offers a master's degree in Mechatronics. So do contact them for further details. But you have to get a rank below 200 if at all you want to get a seat in this branch as per IIT kanpur SEAT matrix.
ALL THE BEST,HOPE this helped you :)
THANK YOU.
Hey .
MBA is a professional course which you can only opt for once you have a graduation degree . So any student can apply for MBA regardless of his graduation course ( background) . Therefore you can totally apply in IIT Kanpur , your engineering degree won't effect that.
this year JEE advanced is being conducted by IIT kanpur
