Greetings, aspirant
In order to join the Navy, candidates need to appear for the written examination conducted by the UPSC.
Following this written examination, an interview round is conducted by the SSB or Service selection board. This round is mandatory as it is an evaluation of a candidate's personality and a judgement of their character as well as their dedication to the service of their country.
The SSB interview round is followed by a medical examination which is widely considered the toughest of the three levels of tests.
Hope this information helps
Best of luck!!
