Hello student,
Actually it is completely depend upon your interest if you have interest in in engineering line then you should take coaching for JEE main. Otherwise you should take your coaching for National Defence Academy. Both of them will be very beneficial for your future. And also it is depend upon your fitness and mentality. If you think that if you are fully eligible for NDA then my advice you should go for It.

Anybody can join Indian Navy with PCM stream on different posts like officer. There are many competitive exams to enter in Indian Navy with PCM stream and some of the competitive exams are NDA CDS etc.. there are also some exams after engineering like executive officer posts for students after B.Tech. if you want to enter in Indian Navy directly after 12th then you need to give the NDA. Fill the application form and study hard and maintain your physique.
I hope your question has been answered properly.
All the best for your future!
Hi Raj,
The candidates who qualifies this entry undergoes a four year degree course in their Naval Academy at Ezhimala, Kerala so you also need to appear for JEE mains and secure a good All India Rank to get shortlisted.
The entry scheme is itself different. NDA is for admission in one of the services; Army, Navy and Airforce where as this is specific entry scheme meant only for JEE mains qualified candidates thus the cadets who joined Indian Navy through JEE Mains rank meant only for technical branch.
