You can choose the stream as per your choice. It totally depends on in which field you see yourself in real world. There are many branches where you can specialize in the field and come out on top. Some of them are:
Good Luck
hi,
being from an bachelor of technology in instrumentation engineering you may do m.tech courses on below mention stream:
control systems (PLC Scada)
Signal and image processing
Artificial intelligence
embedded system
I have mentioned some of the institute which offers m.tech courses on above discipline:
control system
signal processing
Hello,
I will discuss the details of both these fields below, one by one.
Instrumentation & Control Engineering
Instrumentation & Control Engineering is a specialized branch of Electrical and Electronics engineering and deals with the study of principle and operation of measuring instruments, which are used in the design and configuration of automated systems. Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] Instrumentation & Control Engineering is a four year duration undergraduate course in Engineering.
Plenty of job opportunities are available in both the private as well as the public sector. Some of the top Recruiting Companies are ONGC, BSNL, Philips, OPPO, Reliance India Ltd, etc.
Some of the job profiles are Design trainee engineer, Testing Engineer, Instrumentation site engineer, Technician.
The salary will depend upon the company/organisation you join, the post, etc. But on an average the salary can be around INR 1.6-2.25 Lakhs for a fresher
Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering combines the study of electronics part for sensing the different instrumentation engineering. B.Tech Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate course.
After completing this course you can find job opportunities in both the private as well as public sector.

I believe you are referring to the M.Tech Instumentation & Control System Branch at NIT Calicut. Last season 12 students had registered for Placements, out of which 7 were placed with a Median Package of 12.42 LPA, a Max Salary of 17.33 LPA while the Minimum Salary was 6.25 LPA. Few students opted out of placements and prepared for PSU Interviews with GATE Score. Couple of students moved to Higher Technical Institutes like IIT Bombay and IIT Madras for a PhD in Electrical/Automation/ Instrumentation Technology.

Hello pandeyrishabh270192 , From some research on internet I found that the job opportunities after Btech in Instrumentation And Control Engineering are in the field of electrical, mechanical as well as electronics sector so they have more scope after that course.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
see saint longowal and cv ramman global university both of the colleges comes under tier 1 college and have excellent placement, however according to the job prospect and jobs opportunity In india it would best to study CSE since most of the tier 1 companies are IT industry,. however a person can make a career in any discipline and earn a decent salary if she/ he have excellent knowledge on the particular domain. so you have to decide which of the stream you want to study .
so all the best for your future.
