I have got IERT allahabad Instrumentation And Control Engineering fee Waiver Should I Take This College? Placement is not really my number one priority i want a good college with nice study.

NAINA SHARMA 9th Nov, 2020

Hi Aspirant,

IERT Allahabad, formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow,  is accredited by the All India Technical Education Council (AICTE). The college offers admission to various undergraduate degrees B. Tech courses. College is nice in terms of research. The Faculty is really concerned about student education. The professors are hard-working and knowledgeable. The college has all the necessary facilities, such as a library, a laboratory, a health centre, a computer centre. Placements at the campus are hardly provided. Some students are also being put in outside companies.

  • Infrastructure: This college has a high-end infrastructure. With all the facilities in place, the classrooms are very spacious and lighted. The auditorium is very large, the laboratory and the computer Centre are both very well equipped with all the necessary equipment.
  • Placement:  Placement are average for this college.
  • Academics: Quality of teaching is good. Faculties are highly qualified here.

So I'd recommend that you go to this college because you're also getting a fee waiver, and this placement isn't that poor instrumentation. Placements here are average. Academics is one of the strong point of this college.

Dear student,
The ratings for IERT lucknow has dropped this year and also the branch you are getting is not that popular and the placements are not that good even. So may be you could wait for the next rounds and float the seat to get some better options in the next rounds.

will i get nit tirchy Instrumentation and control engineering for a rank of 7566 obc rank and i am from tamilnadu??and do the closing rank increase this year

Sharon Rose Student Expert 26th Sep, 2020

Hello,

In 2019 a candidate with rank OBC-NCL rank 7707 secured seat in Instrumentation and Control Engineering in NIT, Tiruchirappalli under home state quota in round 7. Considering this you have decent chances of getting seat in NIT, Trichy in ICE branch. But cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates applied, difficulty of exam, number of seats available etc. And it is difficult to predict whether the cut off may increase or decrease as it depends on the above mentioned factors.

We have JEE Main college predictor you may use it to predict the colleges in which you may have chances of getting seat https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

I have got Instrumentation And Control Engineering(Fee Waiver) in UPSEE Government College .What are the benefits of this branch? I am weak in Physics Will This Be An Issue?

Vivek Kumar 31st Oct, 2020

Hi aspirant, since you have gine for B.Tech so I would like to make you clear that if you are enrolling yourself for B.Tech then you have to study Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in first year, these all subjects are common for all branches. Now if you are weak in physics than doesn't matter because you will get to study this subject in your first year where you can make your basics of this subject clear.

Good Luck.

can i prefer instrumentation and control engineering at psg over cse/it at thiagarajar college of engineering (tce) or Coimbatore institute of technology (cit) in terms of placements and opportunities?

arpan00002 29th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant,

You asked for the comparison among the colleges named psg, tce & cit.

Now, look, according to me, psg is  the best among them. Placement is extremely good. Mostly PSG students get placed in the avg package of 4 to 6 Lpa. PSG last 3 years maintaining placement percentage 85%+. Most of the reputed companies like Caterpillar, Bajaj, L&T, Pwc, Daimler, Asian Paints,Renault Nissan, Goldman Sachs etc. are visiting regularly to our campus.

The tentative number of lecturers in this college is 90 in the college. Their avg age is around 40 to 45. Their average qualification is M.E. but most of the staffs have completed PhDs. They are very good in explaining the engineering concepts to the students as they do a lot of work after the college hrs to prepare for the next day's class.

So, you may go for it.

All the best  !!
