nirma Instrumentation and control vs dharmsinh Desai University (Nadiad) (sfi) Electronics and communication

Shivam Kumar 22nd Oct, 2020

Hello harshesh9802,

Well, Clearly Nirma university if far better than DDU but talking about the branches, ICE and ECE are a little bit similar. As ICE is a part of ECE, (Like IT is a part of CSE), so my recommendation would be like:

  • Your first preference should be your Area Of Interest, i.e. If you already have an enormous interest in electronics than definitely you should go with DDU,
  • But, if you want to explore the branch the you should go with Nirma University, as you'll get a better platform to excel, learn and explore.

ECE is a core branch and therefore, it has a lot of opportunities open, and ICE is a kind of new branch and it is also getting a better a recognition, so don't worry about the future of ICE because in 4 years, it is definitely going to be a good choice of hiring of Many companies too! Relax and Decide on the Basis of the points given above, it mostly works with many others & I've seen that ;-)

All The Best, and feel free to ask any further queries if you have one...

How are the placements for BE Instrumentation and Control Engineering in PSG Tech ? What is the highest salary package for this department student in IT field ?

gauravvijayvargiya399 18th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

At the PSG College of Technology , Coimbatore lover placement offers are good . Almost 75- 85 % of students were placed during the academic year of 2019. The placements are coordinated by the placement cell of the college which conducts training sessions for the students to increase their technical and non-technical skills.

Companies like Accenture, Birla, Ashok Leyland, Adobe, Cognizant, Nuvo, Samsung, L& T, Capgemini, amongst other companies. The placements offers increase each year.

In the 2019 placement offers, about 55 - 65% of BE Instrumentation and Control engineering students were placed.

Since , there were good IT companies that visited, therefore,  placement offers for IT offers were good enough.

The average salary was approx. 4 to 5 lakhs per annum and the highest was around 8 to 9 LPA

You can refer to the article given below for more information and details,

Will I get Instrumentation and Control Engineering at NSS Palakkad if I have 170/960 at KEAM and 276/300 (92%) at +2 CBSE (Normalized score = 329/600)?

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 30th Aug, 2020

Hello,

Yes there is good possibility as your 12th score is high. for Final KEAM score, Both KEAM entrance exam score and 12th score holds equal weightage.  Cutoff varies every year and for current year, cutoff range may not be following the previous year trend due to many factors.

education process got delayed by many months and it will effect the performance of candidates as health risk is the major reason. So do apply for NSS palakkad for ICE (High possibility if your rank is below 35k) along with other college option. You will get it.

for previous year cutoff for NSS palakkad, visit the link:- http://www.cee-kerala.org/docs/keam2018/allot/last_rank_p3.pdf

Hope it helps!

b.tech in instrumentation and control engineering , nirma University or electronic and communication engineering in L.D. engineering college , Ahemdabad ? with reasons plz

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 29th Sep, 2020
Hello,

Both the colleges are good but branches matter a lot when it comes to placement and in my personal opinion, instrumentation and control engineering is not a good choice. So, you should go for Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering as it is one of the premier engineering college and offers great placement too and also electronics and communication engineering is a good branch to get a placement.

I hope this helps.

hello sir ,what is in instrumentation and control engineering..?and what is scopes are in this engineering field. .? and which colleges are provide it best..in india..?

Ayesha ruman 12th Sep, 2020

Hello candidate

Instrumentation and control engineering are used for designing and developing, managing and maintaining the equipment which are used for monitoring and controlling the engineering systems and their process . Job is good in this field.

It has very large industrial scope. It has good scope but the demand is less as compared to computer science. It has high scope in oil rich states. So it has very good scope because in oil  and gas the company will hire only engineer with instrumentation and control engineer . So it has good scope.

Thankyou

Hope this be helpful for you
