Instrumentation Engineering
Hello Amrutha,
electronic instrumentation is an course which is existing for a long time but not recognised by people from different streams. this is actually not a bad thing, this course is pretty multi disciplinary and helps to monitor and process control through instrumentation. To understand better, in our daily life every action is done automatically which means machine based, their designing comes under this stream.
There is no process without INSTRUMENTATION in all fields like food, chemical, leather, sugar, automobile and other industries.
There are greater opening in E&I stream for freshers also. draftsmen, surveyor, quality control, inspectors, etc are availabe for freshers also. But while studying try to be updated with the existing new things in stream to be in track with existing affairs.
Hope my view helps you.

Hello Aspirant,
Since it is too late to answer your query, GITAM GAT counselling is over now, I hope you have successfully allotted the seat as per your rank. For your further queries you can stay tuned with us.
Good Luck!
It depends upon the rank you got and number of seats available for the branch which you want.
If you want ECE ,there is seat vacant after the counseling process you will get that.
Thank you
Hope it helps
hello aspirant,
please mention which institutions fees structure you want to know. then i surely help you.
Hey Rashith Ahamed,
EIE deals with electronics as well as the instrumentation part of the industry, whereas IC is mostly related to the control system and instrumentation field. EIE includes embedded systems, control system, instrumentation, biomedical instrumentation (surface level) and automation (mostly surface level) where as IC includes mostly control system, DCS, networking in DCS also the security in DCS, automation (more than EIE) and biomedical instrumentation (surface level). If you are studying EIE then there are many options for further studies ( Embedded systems, Control System, industrial automation and computer science) as well as diverse option for job also. If you are studying IC then option are narrowed for higher education( control system, industrial automation and system security) as well as job.
Good Luck.
