In this group have good placements and good jobs for students?

Chinmay Joshi 14th May, 2018

Hello,

Yes surely this course offers you a good placement in the future as this industry works in tandunm with the IT industry. Also, being a core branch, you also have a chance to switch to other stream jobs like the I.T. inndustry or work in the secondary sector as well. Average package as per packages offered at various colleges and universities throughout the country is 4.5 lakhs per annum.

In the end, while opting for a branch, you should always put your interest first and then think about the packages and placements!

Hope this answers you!

What about placements of instrumentation and control engineering at NITJ. Should I choose it over ECE at Thapar or CSE at amrita?

Mayank kumar singh 11th May, 2018
Hello,
If you are getting CSE in Amritha's main campus then you should choose it as it's placement is really good...but if not then you should go for ECE in THAPAR UNIVERSITY and then followed by NITJ according to placements.
Good luck.

Im getting CSE at amrita, ECE at thapar and Instrumentation and control engineering at NITJ. Now Im getting really confused.

Mayank kumar singh 11th May, 2018
Hello,
If you want NIT degree then you can go for NITJ.
Otherwise all branches are different and equally good. You should choose a branch according to your interests.CSE in Amritha would be the best option among all according to placements followed by ECE in THAPAR.
But i will suggest you to choose a branch in which you want to gain knowledge.
Good luck.

What is being taught under instrumentation and control engineering branch? Does NIT Jalandhar provide good placements in this branch?

somya rai 11th May, 2018
I can assure you that it is a good choice due to following reasons-

Placements for ICE at NITJ are more than 100%.These days automation is in good demand hence worldwide opportunities for instrumentation engineers are good.Getting in PSUs is relatively easy for instrumentation guys as competition in GATE is low.ICE is coolest branch at NITJ in terms of course and faculty. You will enjoy four years of your life. Most of guys of my batch are working abroad. If that is your preference, you are set.
