chinchujoseph1993 17th Jan, 2021

Hello,

First of all do not panic. Now since you have realised your mistake, start preparing well from today onwards. You should not waste anymore time and work really hard for the next month, then I am sure you will not fail and will be able to do well.

I understand it becomes really difficult to concentrate on your studies, specially during this time.

Below I will share some tips that will help you to concentrate better:

  • Find a time which is best suitable for you to study. Some find it better to concentrate in the morning while others find they can do better in the night.

  • Decide what portions you would like to finish in that particular day

  • Prepare a timetable according to the above, keeping slots for breaks

  • Start studying with your favorite subject, so that you don’t get bored from the beginning itself

  • Take breaks when you get bored, and try to avoid studying at a stretch for a longer duration.

  • Always keep some time apart for your hobbies, exercise, etc.

  • Eat healthy food, sleep well and also socialise. A healthy mind is the most important for good concentration

  • Do some mind games like Sudoku, Crossword puzzles, Chess, etc

  • Also try meditation

Following these I am sure you will be able to improve your concentration and hence be able to study well

Good Luck

pkp.inutail 24th Nov, 2020

Greetings,

No, you do not have to go to the same place or computer to check your allotment status. You can do that at home on PC or laptop. You can also use your phone (if the counselling portal was built for that) but sometimes the website layout gets messy on a small screen.

As for the missing login button, please ensure that you are on the right webpage and that your phone browser is updated (use google chrome for best results)

hope it helped, do ask or comment if the problem persists

good day!

How much difference in Cse- data science and CSE - Internet of things in term of percentage % , ?

Divyanshi Lal 18th Nov, 2020

Dear student,

I hope you are safe and doing good.

IoT or Internet of Things is primarily a full system of all mechanical and digital machines which are turned into interconnected computing devices. If we have a look around our surrounding, then we can see that most of the devices are IoT based like Smart Bands or Fitness Bands , Smart Smoke Alarms,  Amazon Dash button and this list goes on.

While, Data Science, is defined as the process of obtaining valuable insights from structured and unstructured data by using various tools and techniques. Some of the techniques practiced in data science include data extraction, data analysis, data mining, and data retrieval, to produce informative results.

In simpler words, IoT is about simultaneously collecting and processing data to make real-time decisions whereas, data science is more into collecting and accumulating huge data for analysis afterward.

So, they work on the same thing but differently and it would be somewhat difficult to represent that in the form of percentage.

I hope you got your answer.

from which ordering I should go ? in between them - CSE , CSE(AI), CSE(AI & ML), CSE ( Data science), IT , CSE (Internet of things ) ?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 12th Nov, 2020

See from the perspective of Industrial needs Data Science is a urge in today's world. Many companies like TCS etc prefer in general CSE or other engineers for their programming jobs. CSE(AI) , CSE(ML and AI) have a great opportunity in future but after getting the degree there is a great probability that you will not get a job related to this but if you have interest you should go with it.

So ordering the course according to the industrial needs:

CSE(data science)/CSE>CSE(AI and ML)>CSE(AI)>IT

The perspectives will change from year to year on the enhancement in the sectors. So have a degree with advanced topics may not deal you now a great package perfectly for that course but in future it will be of high demand.

I hope my answer helps you. All the very best for your future endeavors!

for CMA intermediate exams which one I should choose centre based or home based? if centre based then there may be chances of changing the centre and in Bangalore pathetic traffic In case of Homebased, internet connection may create problem, advice me please

shubham 7th Nov, 2020

Hello,

This decision will be purely based on your comfort, if you choose home based you have to make sure that you have strong and high speed network connection like large data plan and try the connectivity before examination, also you must keep a spare data service on other hotspot of other telecom service just for emergency.

Or else if you choose centre based and you fear of getting late due to traffic which is main concern as due to covid people opt for taking their own vehicle thus increasing traffic, so in such case you can stay near by the centre at a hotel or relative which will be more convenient at this point.

So it is based on your convenience both option have their merits and demerits, if I would have to suggest i would have gone through centre based and taking near by room service or hotel booked as it is more reliable than internet
