I would like to join B.sc (nautical science). I have some farsightedness problem. To join this course I need to have a perfect vision. I found this in the internet.Do I need to have this perfect vision at the time of admission itself or would I allowed to change my vision problem during my studies.

prince2019ad 2nd Nov, 2020

Hope you are doing good.

Nautical science requires a perfect vision.

Yes. You are right.

During the admission procedure, at the time of health checkup, you should be having perfect vision else you would be rejected.

The above guideline is compulsory.

If you are declared as having perfect vision during the admission procedure health check-up but during the course they find out that you actually dont dave perfect vision, then there would be no problem for you.

After you have successfully cleared the the admission procedure health checkup there would be no problem for you.

Hoping for your bright future.

i am unable to login after registeration. i have tried refreshing the page and my internet connection is very smooth but it still wont let me login kindly heelp :(

Dear Applicant,

I hope you are doing well.

You should wait for sometimes. These portals can be abit hectic due to the load they need to cover up.

If possible after some time try to open from someone else's phone with a different network.

Or try logging in from a PC using WiFi connections.

Or use the helplines number or email I'd to contact the people in charge.

Hope this helps!!

I got 18k rank in ts eamcet. I have taken cse specialization in IOT(internet of things). Many people are saying that it is waste of taking IoT instead you can take cse specialization in cybersecurity.I want to know that what they are saying is really true ?

Anuj More 28th Oct, 2020

Dear Student,

It's actually difficult to answer on this. Since these are new streams of Computer Science, people are less receptive of them & doubt whether the professors who will teach are up to the level required. Since it is a new degree, it's common for people to doubt the authenticity & question your decision. Anyhow the final decision rests on you, both of the streams are booming technologies in India. But with IOT, a lot of jobs will be generated in India. Consider talking to people from IoT background, ask them this doubt & ask them their opinion on the same issue. You can search them via LinkedIn & ask the query to people in IOT market.

Hope this helps. Thanks.

I have not verified my income certificate in my first round of eamcet counselling, so i have not got any fee reimbursement in my allotment, so can i verify it again in my second round, in the internet it mentioned that, those who have registered for 1st round, need not register again for 2nd round.

Vinay Kumar 28th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant,

Since the certificate verification process is done, it may be difficult for getting your certificate verified. However as a last hope you can visit your nearest helpline center which is organized by the government. They may help you if possible. If not possible then try get recommemdation from the officials (like political).

Hope this helps

It is mentioned by MCC to deposit 200000 Rupees security deposit and Rs 5000 Registration fees at the Time of Registration by internet banking or by card payment. if we go by internet banking then it will waste important one day. Can you give account no of MCC with IFSC code ?

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 24th Oct, 2020

Hey

As you may kknow the counselling for NEET 2020 is supposed to start from 27th October so you do not have to wait a day before payment is made since 27th is a tuesday and net banking will be working that day. Also, net banking and payment via debit/credit card mode is easier and faster hence it is given as an option by mcc. We do not have the account number or ifsc code for mcc hence you will have to contact them at:

  • Phone No. : 0120-4073500
    TOLL FREE NUMBER : 1800 102 7637

which course is good in b tech for cse, artificial intelligence, data science, cyber security, internet of things according to placements and which is easy among them

Anindita varma 20th Oct, 2020

Hi,

Though it's all depends on the interest of yours not on the easiness or toughness of any course, I would like to suggest you to some introspection and figure out your area of interest. Though, Data science, computer science, or any other tech course are requirement of present and future. You can look ahead into these sort of courses. If you are looking for any suitable institute with global tie ups and international faculty width, Thapar School of Liberal Art and Science would be a great preference.

You can access mote info from here: https://tslas.thapar.edu/

now we have in cse new cse courses which are artificial intelligence & machine learning, data science, cyber security, internet of things what this courses are about? to take this courses is good or not? do we get nice placements for this courses? can u plz explain about these couses in detail

AKSHAYA.V.A. 19th Oct, 2020

Hey hi!

Yes, It is an excellent question first of all. Artificial intelligence and machine languages deals with robotics and coding behind machines like computer etc. Cyber security deals with hacking, decoding and forensics. Data science deals with statistical and analytic learning. Though our future depends on Artificial Intelligence. Don't get attracted to these new terms let me remind you teaching faculties are also going to learn with you. Apart from these evolving terms, there could be a situation where these courses may not be recognized for your higher educations. Doing specialization is completely different from pursuing it as career. If you have interest in these field then pursue it as your specialization. Go for it only when you are not left with other options. You can still have placement opportunities. But these fields should be recognized when you are sitting for your placements.

Do think and choose it wisely. ALL THE BEST. Hope this answer was helpful.

Thank you.

I heard that one requires 60% aggregate in PCB to be eligible for MBBS admission in Assam through NEET. pls clarify whether its 60% aggregate in PCB or PCB and English combined (Ive found that too on the internet) for Assam.

mjaisinghani62 18th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

For Assam,  Xii board marks are not calculated for mbbs admission . But it is mandatory to get 60% aggregate marks for unreserved Category and minimum 50% aggregate for reserved category.

For general Category candidate , one should secure minimum 50% marks in PCB. For reserved category candidates it is necessary to get 40% in PCB subjects

English marks are not included but it is a compulsory subject and it is necessary to pass in English.

due to unavailability of internet I register for josaa counseling but I not filled the choice filling now 1st round is over can I have a chance to fill the choice filling in second round

ARYAN SAGAR 24th Oct, 2020
Dear student,

As the first round counselling of josaa is over and you have not selected in choice then it's very unfortunate for you.
After mock seat allotment you had one chance to fill the choices and lock them. But as you have not filled any of the choices then this year you will not be competing for any colleges, because you have a blank college list in josaa counseling.

Also you can not once again fill the choices during the second round or any round of josaa counselling. So this year you will get no seat in the colleges via josaa counselling because you haven't filled any choices.

And now your only hope is csab counselling. And this will be held after josaa counselling and when the dates come register it and dil the choices without any delays. Because this will be your last hope if you want to get NIT or any IIIT or gftis on the basis of your jee mains rank.
