Where the total academics is good and total placements is not so good. But it is nice unfor college lifestyle. I like that color lifestyle it will. It will organize any different events? Good events. But placements is not better in this college

Kishan Bhakat 12th Jun, 2025

hi,

If you’re looking for a college where academics are good but placements are not that great, yet the college life is really fun with lots of events, then yes, there are colleges like that. VIPS is a good example. The studies are decent, teachers are supportive, and the college keeps organizing different cultural fests, sports events, and other fun activities that make campus life exciting. Students really enjoy the vibe there. But honestly, the placements are just okay, not very high. So if you want a nice college life with good events.

Avanishsree VP 13th Jun, 2025

48 marks or not sufficient, you didn’t meet the 35% qualifying criteria, hence retake the exam to cross the cut-off and improve rank for seat allotment.

Why isnt there any kind of event in this year its boring as it gets

Prahvi Sharma 15th Jun, 2025

Because there are fewer events planned this year—possibly due to academic schedules, financial constraints, or low student participation—it could feel dull.

To revive the fun, you can plan or suggest events through your student council or college.

Im a humanities student and i have taken history & Pol. Sci as my main subs and i want to take psychology as my career, and i really dont know how much time i have to study for psychology as it was not my subs and it is a new sub to me and i really dont know what to do

gopi 12th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If you are truly passionate about Psychology, don't worry, even without a background in the area, it is definitely possible to change your academic journey.  Here's what you can do:

  1. Learn the Fundamentals – Reach out into beginner topics in Psychology, such as cognitive, development and social psychology.
  2. Commit your Time – Commit to learning at least 1–2 hours per day in the beginning. As it is new, you will want to be consistent in study and revision in order to grasp the fundamentals.
  3. Construct your Journey – Depending on what level you obtained your degree, you can study a Master's in Psychology after your degree (certain institutes will allow you to apply from any background), or you could think about taking a diploma/certificate course to start with.
  4. Keep Exploring – Read some introductory books about the area such as, “Psychology: The Science of Mind and Behaviour”.
  5. Talk to people –  Connect and converse about psychology with students or practitioners of psychology, so you are enlightened on a range of career possibilities (clinical, counselling, research and so on).

I have completed my application form for counselling in ip university for btech but havent updated my 12th status. It is showing appearing and now i cant make any changes. will it cause problem at the time of counselling.

gopi 12th Jun, 2025

Hi Hansika,

If your 12th status is appearing as "Appearing and still open in your IPU B. Tech counselling application and during correction window closed, don't worry. It basically do not impact your counselling process immediately, but you have to submit correct documents (mark sheet and passing certificate) during document verification. Otherwise, later on, your admission may be cancelled. You should try to get in touch with the IPU helpdesk mention your situation to them or call the admission office as soon as possible to get official advice.

In Jac councilling is it necessary to pay seat acceptance fee and documents varification to participate in second round

gopi 12th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, for JAC Adv. counselling, if you want to stay on to be considered for the second round with the same or upgraded seat, you have to pay the seat acceptance fee, and then complete the document verification process after the first round. If you don't do all of that, you may risk losing the allotted seat and possibly not qualify for the next rounds.
