is it worth to take instrumentation and control branch in NIT Trichy or should i choose ECE in NIT nagpur or MNIT Jaipur?

gopi 12th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If you have a strong interest in core engineering and also an interdisciplinary inclination toward fields like automation, robotics, or control systems, then Instrumentation and Control in NIT Trichy would be a great field to choose, NIT Trichy is one of the top NITs with good faculty, research exposure and great placements record for niche branches as well.
However, if you have a stronger inclination to become more software, electronics, communication level in the tech field, ECE in NIT Nagpur or MNIT Jaipur would be better options as they provide a wider breadth to careers and also a better mass placements options.

So choose NIT Trichy (ICE) as it is a prestige institute and if you have core engineering interest and decent academics. Also, you can choose ECE (Nagpur/Jaipur) for breadth in tech roles, coding based jobs, flexibility in all sorts of career paths.

Hello I have given 12th exam this year and I was not satisfied with my marks so I have filled the improvement exam form and given the fees also but now I dont want to give exam so how I can cancel it pls tell

Prachi Kumari 11th Jun, 2025

Hello!

If you have already filled the improvement exam form and paid the fees, but now you don’t want to give the exam, then there is no official way to cancel it.

However, here’s what you can do:

  • Simply don’t appear for the exam on the scheduled date. If you don’t go, it will be marked as "Absent" and your previous marks will stay valid.

  • No need to inform anyone , and there won’t be any problem in future.

But remember, the fees you paid will not be refunded .

Hope it helps !

Ayan Chakraborty 5th Jul, 2025

It can be different in different states, regions, places and there after. So, generally every colleges starting from around everywhere is bit really the same. But according to some high placement government colleges and private institutions it can differ a lot as they have much more than that of it.

Why does it not provide llb 5 years last time I checked on Google it shoved it has 5 year llb course

preeti kataria 14th Jun, 2025

It’s likely that when you saw a “5-year LLB” mentioned under “NIT Jaipur,” it was actually referring to another Jaipur-based institution (like ICFAI or Manipal), not the National Institute of Technology Jaipur itself—which doesn’t offer any law programs. NITs typically focus on engineering, sciences, and technology, not integrated law courses. If you’re specifically looking for a 5-year LLB, you’ll need to apply to dedicated law schools or universities—not an NIT.
