gudduchaini Student Expert 6th Sep, 2020

Hello himanshu your questions is not clear to help you but as per my understanding you are asking about your qulaifying jee or not to be able to sit in jee advance . So as I already told you that See 47-49 marks in jee mains is less but still sometimes cutoff goes down so yess there is chance of your to qualify jee mains and about jee advance your jee mains score creates no affect as some students who fails to score good in mains excel in advance..

I am feeling that my JEE Main 2020 may have marks of 41- 43, I can start preparing for JEE Advanced ?? I am OBC category student ,

Hi aspirant,

You are getting approximately 41 to 43 marks and belong to OBC category. According to last year trend depending on your marks you percentile would be 70 approximately. You can check the following link to know the marks vs percentile analysis: https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile/amp

See the last year Jee main cutoff for OBC category to qualify for JEE Advanced was 74 percentile and you are getting at least some nearer. Therefore, I would recommend you to prepare for JEE Advanced and let's hope for the best when JEE Advanced cutoff is declared.

All the best.

I got 89.14 JEE MAIN 2020 IN OBC CATAGORY. WHAT ARE MY CHANCES IN NIT COLLEGES IN MAHARASHTRA

Anurag Khanna 5th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your approximate rank would be near about 95,000 and on the basis of this rank you cannot get any of the NIT in Maharashtra even with OBC category. Note that the above prediction is based on previous year's cut-off because cut-offs for this year has not released yet and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

But yes you can go for some private college which takes admission through JEE-Main like BITS Pilani, SRM University, Amity University and likewise.

However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your college more precisely based on your percentile and category :-
