Cutoff for jee vary every year depending on various factors that's why we can analyze cut off for present year by seeing the past year cut off.

Factors affecting cut off-

The expected rank according to your score will be 5090- 6740 (AIR)

when the final rank list is made for jee main 2020 and if the best of two percentile is taken. but when the rank is calculated they consider total number of students. For ex: if 10 lakhs have written on the jan atmpt this time only around 6 lakhs have written which number of stu will they consider?

ANUVAB DAS 5th Sep, 2020
The higher percentile is considered to calculate rank. If you score the higher percentile in January attempt, that will be taken into account to calculate your rank. Now as the students appearing in September is less than January, they will obviously get a higher rank compared to the students appeared in January attempt. Rank is calculated using following formula:

Rank = (100 - percentile) * total number of students appeared / 100

G VIJAYALAKSHMI 4th Sep, 2020

Dear candidate

In order to be eligible to apply for JEE ADVANCED you need to qualify JEE MAINS and the qualifying marks differs every year and it separate for every category and you should be in top 2.5 lack rankers to be eligible for applying for JEE ADVANCED as you didn't mention what category you belong i am telling you about general category details so, the JEE MAINS qualifying mark will be around 90 to 100 so, if you can get atleast 130 to 150 in JEE MAINS you can be sure that you will be eligible for JEE ADVANCED.

how many pwd students appeared in jee main 2020 september?

rehan18alam Student Expert 4th Sep, 2020
Dear aspirant,

as of now the data for the September 2020 attempt is not available however in the January 2020 that is JEE main 1 exam the total number of PWD experience was 2843.

Therefore you could assume that the number of students in the September attempt would be close to 3000.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Hello,

Yes off course. Check the website thoroughly or visit the College/Administration office.

For getting B category seats in CBIT he or she should have around 20k to 50k rank in open category, but it changes with the branch you select. As we know that getting cse  difficult.

Try for Spot Round too. As the cut off decreases you’ll have more chances to get a seat .

i got 85 percentile in jee main 2020 which nit and iiit and other govt college suit me

Charu tyagi 13th Oct, 2020
Hey dear,
With 85 percentile marks,it is difficult to take admission in NIT or IIT...you can give jee advanced exam and score in that much better and there are many other good private and government colleges like thapar university, pec chandigarh etc, by JOSAA councelling in which you can take admission with this percentile.
