My rank in jee main 2021 is 253058 (general category) which college can i get in mp?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 16th Sep, 2021

Hi

This is very difficult to predict which college you will get because cut off  keeps changing every year depending upon a number of factors like

--------) number of students participating in MP counselling

-------) number of seats available for different branches.

--------) number of students from different categories

-------) The branch you want to get admission in etc

But yes,

With  253058  rank considering you from general category from MP

You have chances in following colleges under home state-

  • UJJAIN ENGINEERING COLLEGE:- chemical engineering :-262899

  • Rewa Engineering College, Rewa:- CE :- 300702

  • Indira Gandhi Engineering College, Sagar (IGEC):-EC :- 396897

  • Nowgong Engineering College, Nowgong:- CCE

And a few more

As per 2020, mp counselling cut off available at Official website :-

https://dte.mponline.gov.in/Portal/Services/OnlineCounselling/NW/Utilities/Citizen/frmYearWiseCutoff.aspx

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender ,   different counsellings on jee main basis like mp counselling   etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

my crl is 164000 in jee main 2021 ,what college i will get to take admission in odisha

thandrasrivarsha1719 30th Sep, 2021

According to your rank and category, you have very less chances to get in state of Odisha. You can go through the other private colleges or another state as per according to your preferences. Mostly one or two colleges may get on free seat but that's possible mostly. Try other colleges.

Hello Aspirant,

See we cannot help you with the accurate information because on the basis of your rank it cannot be predicted whether you are qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 or not, percentile that you have scored will decide whether you have qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 or not .

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2021 result so now it is clear that at what percentile the candidate is eligible for JEE-Advance 2021. As per the NTA, qualifying cut-offs goes like :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

So you can check out the qualifying cut-offs from the above table and check whether you have qualified for JEE-Advance or not.

I got 4819 sc rank in jee main 2021,am i eligible for nits? can i get electrical branch in any of the top nits??

Anurag Khanna 29th Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

On such rank top NITs are very difficult with Electrical branch but yes you can go for some IIITs with Electrical branch or some NITs with some other branches.

If we go through previous year's data of seat allotment On the basis of data mentioned in the question by you, you can go for the enlisted colleges :-

Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur - Chemical Engineering (5836)

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal - Mechanical Engineering (4979)

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad - Chemical Engineering (5348)

National Institute of Technology Agartala - Electrical Engineering (6542)

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above list is merely a prediction which has been made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of either JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India on the basis of your JEE-Main 2021 result :-

my jee main 2021 rank is 254 and i am obc ncl pwd candidate can i get admission in any of the nits

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 16th Sep, 2021

Hi

Making  prediction is difficult as  cutoff  depends upon various factors like :-

*******  students number  that appeared in the  jee main exam,

*******  number of available seats,

*******  performance of different students in the examination,

*******  the branch you want,

*******  the category you belong etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then

-- -----------------) With 254 obc pwd rank

Yes, you can get nits

you have chances in following  which are listed below along with their closing rank in 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 under other state  -

------------) NIT Jalandhar :- electrical engineering :- 427 obc pwd rank

------------) NIT Jaipur :- chemical engineering:- 768 obc pwd rank

------------) NIT Agartala :- computer science engineering :- 379 obc pwd rank

And more

You can check the closing ranks  at official website of josaa by going through the link given below

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Or

For previous year cut offs of top colleges like NITs, IIITs , you can also refer our page at :-

NITs :- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches

IIITs:- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-iiits

Above prediction has been made  considering  past year cut off data but  closing rank for colleges varies every year depending upon many factors like jee main question paper difficulty, number of students writing the exam etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

To help you  further,

Minimum percentile in jee main 2021 to qualify it to  be eligible for jee advanced 2021 is given below :-

--------) general :-87.8992241 percentile

--------) EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile

--------) OBC-NCL :- 68.0234447 percentile

--------) SC :- 46.8825338 percentile

--------) ST:- 34.6728999 percentile

--------) PWD :- 0.0096375 percentile

with my category rank 129560 (OBC) in jee main 2021 is there any chance to get CS or IT branch with josaa or upsee councelling

Anurag Khanna 18th Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See for UPSEE counselling it is quite difficult to say because this is the very first time when UPSEE counselling is going to be conducted on the basis of JEE-Main so we don't have any previous year data through which we can help you but through JOSAA counselling it is not possible to get any of the colleges through JOSAA counselling because the closing OBC ranks of last year were like :-

@Other state quota

National Institute of Technology Agartala - Production Engineering (15723)

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar - Mechanical Engineering (21127)

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology - Food Technology (21480)

@Home state quota

National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh - Mechanical Engineering (62801)

Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar - Bio Technology (1,27,839)

National Institute of Technology Sikkim    - Computer Science and Engineering (333759)

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So on such OBC rank you have no chance to get any of the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/GFTIs until and unless you deserve Home state quota for some of the said institutions and likewise , so I would recommend you to either go for state counselling for autonomous government colleges or for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

https://learn.careers360.com/jee-main-coaching/?utm_source=%20QnA

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

You can also check out the JEE-Main 2021 cut-off and know whether you have qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 or not, so it is given below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile
