For the OBC category candidate it is must to score around 90-95 percentile to get the seat in the NIT. You can go through the counselling process to get seat in the semi government or private colleges

So, with regard of you're query. For the percentile of 86. you'll be qualify for JEE advance examination. Because, in the pervious year's the cut off in SC region was 48 in 2021 and 54 percentile in 2020. you'll be secure a rank around 1.4lakh-1.6lakh in general category and In  SC category around 5k- 8K.
