I am IInd droper and give exam in next both jee main exam

Tanmay V 21st Jun, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

You've picked the right thing for the purpose of your situation -"analysis of mock". Now see completing syllabus is just one of the things to be done for exam. But you should analyze what are your weakness, what portion of the syllabus are you facing difficult, are there any mistakes which are being repeated, also are there any questions which could've have been done but got wrong / were not attempted due to conceptual clarity, also did you spend more time on any question than it should be given. Noting down mistakes after every test might help. Also for Maths theory part should be crystal clear to solve problems, and obviously practice is most important along with time management in maths.

These might help - https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-preparation-tips

I received 84 percentile in jee main exam, is there any chance to get any good clg based on these marks?

Anurag Khanna 13th Jun, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general and with General category and such percentile it is quite difficult to get any good college like NITs/IIITs until and unless you belongs to any of the reserved category.

But you can try for private colleges discussed below or you can appear for state counselling for some  autonomous institutions.

Because according to the mentioned percentile your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 163680 - 184000 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

On such rank you can try for some private colleges like :-

  • MSU Baroda - Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda
  • College of Engineering, Trivandrum
  • VJTI Mumbai - Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute

Or I am enlisting down some NITs which you can get only if you deserves Home state quota for them :-

  • National Institute of Technology Agartala - Chemical Engineering (3,28,292)
  • National Institute of Technology Sikkim    - Computer Science and Engineering (329823)

Or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

https://learn.careers360.com/jee-main-coaching/?utm_source=%20QnA

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

You can also check out the JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-off (expected) for JEE-Advance 2021 from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

is jee main exam compulsory for entrance

Subhrajit Mukherjee 4th Jun, 2021

If you want to pursue Engineering or Science and Technology courses from NIT's/IIT's then JEE MAINS is must for you.  By having a good rank in JEE MAINS you can take admission in NIT and on qualifying the cutoff of JEE MAINS you can appear for JEE ADVANCED. So if you score well and get a good enough rank then you can take admission in IIT.

Apart from this very few colleges also accept the JEE MAINS score and other exam scores. So JEE MAINS is one of the entrance which will satisfy your purpose for the above mentioned specifics. But if you don't want to go for it then you have many other entrances like the State Engineering Entrance (WBJEE.OJEE.MHTCET etc), private Engineering college entrances like BITSAT, VITEEE,SRMJEE etc.

So JEE MAINS isn't a compulsory entrance.

To know more about JEE MAINS you may visit the link below:

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

Kya mein jee main exam dene ke liye eligible hu I passed 2020 from rbsc board and got 64. 60 prcent. and jee se muje aacaha college mil jayga

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 3rd Jun, 2021

Hi

Yes, you are eligible for jee main 2021 being passed in 2020 with 64 . 60 % and also eligible for jee main 2022.

This is because,

There is no percentage barrier to be eligible for JEE main .

For reference,

JEE main eligibility criteria is provided below:-

Eligibility criteria says that:-

-) Qualification required :- to be eligible  for JEE mains  for BE or Btech you need 10+2/equivalent qualification with Physics,  mathematics as compulsory subject along with anyone of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.

-) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible  for JEE mains 2022 you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent  in 2022 or should have passed it in 2021 or 2020

-) There is no age limit to be eligible

-) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Mains, you just need to have passed your 12th

But yes,

To be eligible for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category  or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category.

For this year i. e 2021 this minimum percentage requirement of 75% - 65 % has been lifted off, but this percentage barrier of 75% - 65 % will be there in 2022 for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs.

So , even though your% is less than 75%, this year you can get admission in NITs/ IIITs etc through jee main  which are one of the best colleges for your engineering

For detailed information about jee main eligibility criteria  go through our page, the link for which is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-eligibility-criteria

You can apply for jee main 2021 May session , it has been postponed. For release of application forrm you can keep an eye on the official website for which link is provided below
