JEE Main Paper 1
Hey aspirant!
To be honest, it is difficult to predict the exact ranks currently as the April session has yet to take place. However, you can predict your expected rank by this formula:-
(100 - your total score) X 869010 /100. If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100
In your case the rank comes out to be around 400409. Honestly, at that rank you would probably not get any government institute and most of the good private institutions, however you can still try for some private institutions accepting jee scores
For that, you can use this college predictor to know what colleges you would get based on these January scores.

Hello Aspirant,
It would be difficult to provide you the information about the admission possibilities. As per the previous year cutoff, The chances are less to get a seat in NITs. You can go for the state level counselling like Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, MP Etc.
I would also suggest you to appear for JEE Main 2020 April Session again if you wish to get admission in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs.

Hi Siya,
That is a really good percentile to secure in the JEE-Mains 2020 January attempt. Although it is not possible to determine your marks, you can use this formula to get your rank:
((100- your percentile) x no. of students)/100
Your rank comes up to about 32,240. The final rank may be different according to how many students answer the April attempt. You can also check your chances in colleges here:
The exact prediction would be difficult about the admission possibilities & qualifying cutoff. But this score seems not enough to qualify the exam as a General category & to get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs. You can try for the private colleges or state level counselling.
I would suggest you to appear again for JEE Main 2020 April Session again & try to score well, Its application form is expected to come out from 7th February,2020.

Hello,
If you choose to slide your seat which is alloted to you in the first round you can participate in the subsequent round which implies you will be alloted a seat in an academic course of better or higher preference within the same institute and you will accept it.
It depends on choice of your preferences and vacancies available. If there are vacant seat available in the preferred courses then you will get a seat if you choose sliding in round 1 seat allotment.
