I have completed class 11 I have not read clearly how to study class 11 with my class 12 what should be strategy for aiims

krishna kant pandey 5th Mar, 2019

Hello, dear

If you have not studied the topics of class 11 clearly than nothing to worry because, still you have time to cover them but, remember one thing that if even now you have not started your preparation with a strong strategy and in a planned manner than it would have been late by august and september and you will be facing problem in time management for board and eneternce exames at once. So, it would be better to start early and give your best. Here I am going to give you some tips which may helps you in making your strategy:-

  • make the list of topics of std 11 of physics, chemistry and bio which are in the syllabus of NEET and Aiims.
  • start going throug all those topics as early as possible because, right now you have time, there is no burden of board exam and of 12th syllabus. so, start building your concepts by basics and try to solve problems related to topic on same time you are going through it.
  • try to study from NCERT and your coaching modules and it would be my sugestion to limit the number of referance books which will take your time and creat extra burden.
  • try to take short notes on each and every topics you are going through for your future referance and include all the important formulas of that topic.
  • you can devote starting of these two months fully to std 11 topics, and go through all ncert textbook topics. After that you can study the remaining topics along with your 12th syllabus. give more time to 11th topics on sunday/when you have holydays.

Always be stressfree and focused on your goal, be regular to your classes, attend the lectures of all topics in your coaching. Be smart and ahead in study, never go for shortcut while doing practice.

Best of luck to you!!! I hope this will help you.

Dr.Debtanu Banerjee 8th Apr, 2019
I did not exactly understand what exactly you meant by none sat examination if you are asking about the NEET UG examination then the minimum amount of marks you need to get a 50% in each of physics, chemistry and biology and if you are reserved candidate than 40% in each at your class 12 board examination level

Does 12 class marks matter to get into universities like Cambridge or a good score in SAT exam is enough??please explain in detail...

Adil Suaib Khan Student Expert 6th Apr, 2019
Hiii
Depanshi
Yes a good percentage/score is really very important to get yourself admitted in one of the top universities in the world for pursuing an undergraduate course. The universities clearly want a confirmation letter from the principal of your school that you will surely get a 95%+ in your class 12th boards . For some universities like the Yale they even assess and analyse your academics from class 8th onwards so yes school acads are really important when you are targeting a top university . Sat scores on the other hand are equally important for admissions to these universities. For more queries you can ping me up.
Hope it helps
Thanks

Hey Aspirant, SAT exam is for individuals who want to study undergraduate courses in the USA. Along with SAT, you will also have to give language proficiency tests like TOEFL and IELTS both of which tests your command on English language and are required for pursuing an undergraduate degree from the US.

By clearing the SAT you will be eligible for Studying B.Arch in the USA only.

The eligibility criteria for the SAT are the following:

1. Any student more than 12 years old is eligible for giving the exam and if a student is above 21 years of age then he/she must produce a government-issued photo ID like Driving license or passport to the test centre.

I hope this helps.

Can I enter nit through sat exam, Im an Indian and will attempt it in June probably so does anybody think I can get into nit.

Alistair Toppo 21st Feb, 2019

Hi Sai!

The answer is NO!, you can enter any college which takes student fro SAT directly . For example IPM IIM INDORE has SAT quota and the students didn't need to give the IPMAT exam. NITs and other GFTIs might have NRI seats but for that you have to give the basic entrance test for the respective instititue and in this case it's JEE MAINS.

hope this answers your query, all the best

cheers!
