Good Luck!
Hey Paruchuri Jishnu Vardhan,
SAT, ACT, and SAT Subject Tests are all optional, but they will be considered if submitted. for the applicants whom subject tests are required should take Math Level 1 or 2 and a science. You may submit their SAT Subject Testscores as supplemental information to their application.
Most USA colleges and universities require one or more standardized admissions tests to fetch admissions into both their Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. Each University has different criteria for the admission.
In order to study in US Universities, You must obtain decent score in the entrance tests TOEFL, IELTS (English proficiency tests) or SAT, GRE, GMAT Aptitude test.
It depends which programme or University you wish to take the admission as I already told you that each university has different crititeria.
You can refer the below given article for the information about the US Universities.

Hi Ayush...
There is no restriction in taking the SAT scores for all the seven times.
Many schools allow you to use Score choice, or to pick and choose which scores from which test dates you want to send as part of your college application. Not all schools support the use of Score Choice, however, and they take it on good faith that you'llsend all your scores. Some notable schools with a "send all scores" policy include Yale, Stanford, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, and the University of California. So if you can use Score Choice to send only some scores and keep the rest private, and you have the time and money to keep retesting, then technically you could take the SAT as many times as you want. But if your schools don't use Score Choice and you are expected to send all your test scores along with your application.
If you're applying to schools that require all scores, like the ones mentioned above, I would recommend not taking the SAT more than 6 times. If you take it this many or more times, you might be sending the signal that you're not taking the test seriously enough to prep each time or that you have a lot of trouble improving your scores. The SAT is meant to test all students on a level playing field and determine their readiness for college, so it wouldn't look all that strong to have to take the test more than 6 times to perform well.

In case you have any other query then let me know.
Hey, even though a student has given his improvement exam in class 12th, he is still eligible to give the SAT exam. There are no strict eligibility criteria for the test and there is no age limit to the exam but since it is a test to get into colleges, mostly 10th and 12th students give the exam. Since the improvement exam marks will be printed and used in your mark sheet, there is no limitation even though you give the improvement or not. I hope this helped.
Best wishes
Hi there.
If you want to study abroad then yes it is compulsory to write the SAT subjects tests.
Foreign universities and colleges consider srudents for admission based on their SAT scores and TOEFL scores. Other than that if you want any specific information regarding the SAT tests please feel free to post your questions here.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
HiiThe SAT exam has most of the questions in MCQs form only, and essay is obviously subjective. It consists two major sections as follows- Evidence based reading and writing: Here both reading and writng section are multiple choice question based and you have to choose the correct answer.Maths Section- Here you have 2 sets of questions. One is to be solved with calculator and the other is done without calculator. Most of the questions of maths section are MCQs but a few questions are to be solved. The exam is 3 hours long and if you choose the essay question also then your get extra 50 minutes for essay question. The score ranges from 400 to 1600 and there is no negative marking doneFor Ivy League schools, be informed class 10th marks are not considered. You must score good in class 11th and 12th and also keep a high target in SAT i.e around 1500 and above is a safe score.Hope this helps. Incase of doubt feel free to revert backThanks!!
Hi Mrunal,
What subject do you plan to pursue at Harvard? What is your academic qualification? What are you currently pursuing?
One of the 8 Ivy League universities, Harvard is considered the best by students from all over the world. Though they have mentioned on their website that they take students from 25th percentile of SAT to 75th percentile, which is 1470 to 1570, I would suggest being on the higher side.
Apart from this the website also mentions, "community involvement, leadership and distinction in extracurricular activities, and personal qualities and character."
So you can be active in sports, work on your academic projects, be involved in school plays and school activities.
Community development does not only mean something extraordinary, but it can also be a cause you are involved in like helping out the older people in your area, not with money...rather your time, being involved in a neighbourhood NGO for the community...like keeping the area clean, keeping the park well maintained, or working with an NGO for less privileged kids, physically or mentally challenged kids.
Do revert if you need more information.
