Hi Uttam,
JEE mains paper is conducted twice a year one in January and one in April. Students can give both the papers and only one also at if they give both the papers in the best of the two is chosen at according to that result you are given college. Best of the two is chosen. It does not depend upon that whether you have given JEE Main paper 1 or not. If you will gain more percentile in JEE Main paper 2 then and that percentile would be considered as your result.
I hope you got the answer.
All the best for your future!

HELLO KRISHNA Congratulations for your result and qualifying JEE mains. since it is very difficult to predict the exact rank but we do have a backup we have a formula to calculate the expected rank that is (100 – Total percentile) x 869010/100.So according to formula your expected rank for present percentile for January session comes out to be 58831. Now the expected rank might change depending on the no of candidates appearing the april session. For ex if 12 lakh candidate appear the april session then just replace 869010 by 12 lakhs. But if you score above 85 percentile then you have a very decent chance of qualifying jee mains. I didn't get your category properly but let me assume it to be general by default. WEll with this percentile there are chances of getting northeastern NITS and Good nits with low branch. BUt getting top 5 NITS seems a little difficult No worries since you have an april attempt left and most importantly baap of the exams i,e Advance which may directly lead you into IIts.But if you are curious to know that which college you might land into with your percentile then you can use the college predictor link which has following features;

Hello Aspirant, The calculation of the marks & rank would be difficult based on your percentile. You may calculate your expected rank by this formula 100 - your total percentile score is the percentage of people ahead of you. 874469 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100. If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100 Using the formula (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100
Your probable rank will be 2,647.
You should have decent chance to get a seat in top NITs. You can check your admission possibilities in JOSSA counseling & State counseling to go through with the given below link.
