JEE mains result is it obc 6k rank is good?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 8th Aug, 2022

Hi

Yes, 6k obc rank is good

Making  prediction is difficult as  cutoff  depends upon various factors like :-

******** number of students/ candidates  that appeared in the  jee main exam,

******** number of available seats,

******** jee main examination difficulty level.

******** the branch you want,

******** the category you belong etc.

******** your rank in jee main

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then

>>>>>>>>> With your mentioned category rank

You have chances in following  which are listed below along with their closing rank in 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 under other state/ all india quota   :-

-----------) National Institute of Technology, trichy :-Metallurgical and Materials Engineering  :- 6908 obc rank

-----------) National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli:- Production Engineering:- 7496 obc rank

-----------) National Institute of Technology, Srinagar:- CSE :-7593 obc rank

And a few more

You can check the closing ranks  at official website of josaa by going through the link given below

JOSAA :- https://josaa.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx

mhsteja 12th Jun, 2022

Hi aspirant...!

Hope you're doing great...!

So, with regard of you're query. JEE(joint entrance examination) is conducted by NTA. In this year, JEE MAINS is conducted twice,  after the  completion of first session of JEE MAINS you will receive the result of first session and as well as for second session. After completion of JEE ADVANCE the JOSSA counselling will be held in that counselling sessions, you can get into IIT'S and NIT'S.

College of Engineering (COEP) in Pune offers 40 courses in two streams: engineering and information technology, as well as over four degrees, including B.Tech, B.Plan, M.Tech, and M.Plan. COEP B.Tech admission is through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) or the Joint Entrance Exam Main, which is administered by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (JEE Main).

So, you should write MHT CET or JEE MAINS examination to enter into COEP

Does counseling to IIT and NIT both take place after announcement of JEE advanced or the counseling of NIT take place immediately after announcement of JEE mains result?

Anish Pal 9th Feb, 2022

Hi Reader,

Admissions to both NITs and IITs take place on JOSAA portal after the conclusion of JEE Advanced result. Additionally IITs don't have any spot round since seats get filled completely by Round 6. NITs/IIEST Shibpur/IIITs have an extra round of CSAB after the conclusion of JOSAA counselling.

will this time also aktu college will be provided with jee mains result?

Anurag Khanna 18th Jan, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Yes now only JEE-Main will be accepted as an entrance examination for admission to engineering courses of AKTU, because since last year the UPSEE has been scrapped and only JEE-Main score is now used for admission.

For JEE-Main 2022 till now there is no any information so at this moment it would be too early to say any exact date about JEE-Main 2022 but to give you an idea, if everything goes normally then we can expect JEE-Main 2022 application to get started by the end of January 2022 but nothing is announced officially yet.

should I go for btech or be. which is better?? I am getting a decent college for BE. should I go for that or should I go for btech in some private Institute

Bhavesh gupta 30th Sep, 2021

Hello aspirant

hope you are doing well and safe. As per your query , I would glad to inform you that   in my opnion if you are getting decent college for B.E then go only for B.E as their are only very different subjects in BE as compared to BTECH . I always say go college over anything as last placement matters only on your skills if you are colleges is inviting big companies

Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
