Hello Aspirant,
See the rank will not be calculated shift wise, because you are going to get your rank in your final result which will be released after all attempts of JEE-Main 2021 around May end. For now you are going to get only your percentile after each attempt. Your rank will be calculated on the basis of best percentile of four attempts if you are going to attempt the JEE-Main 2021 for all four sessions , if you are going to appear/appeared for only one session then your rank will be totally based on the percentile secured by you.
For February session of JEE-Main 2021, result is expected by March 7th.

Hey Aditya,
You can definitely get admission in any college which accept JEE MAINS Score. First you have to apply for the JoSAA counseling process, where several GFTIs, NITs, and IIITs are available for admissions. You also get a State preference in the NIT of your home state based on your category rank. So, if you have got a decent score which matches the previous years Cut-offs of these government colleges, then definitely you should apply for it. Hope you found your answer, and wish you the best for your future.
