I hope the above information helps. All the very best.
Hello,
JEE examination is one of the toughest entrance examination in India and Lakhs of students prepare for it every year.
It was unfortunate that you couldn't score your desired marks this year but it is a very dedicated decision that you want to write the paper again next year.
Yes, you can begin your preparation by analysing your weakness as you gave your Examination this year and then make a time table where you can maximize your study time and then start preparing without wasting a minute.
For complete information about how to prepare for JEE Mains and Advanced you must check out the link below, it contains tips and advice you must follow to ensure success next year.
Thank you.
You can take drop as there JEE Mains allow upto 3 attempts. If you take partial drop then you have to do two tasks. The first is to prepare for JEE and the other is to balance college Engineering study. It could be quite hectic because Engineering itself is very time requiring course. If you can manage both Entrance preparation and Engineering Course then you should take partial drop.
I hope this will answer your query.
Thanks!!!!
I hope you are doing fine, NIT is good but if you are not satisfied with it then you can take admission in NIT and then sideways can also prepare for JEE. From college side you are not going to get any help. You will have to manage on your own like the timings and all. College will go on as usual. So decide yourself if you would be able to manage both your college studies and your JEE Preparation simultaneously then go for it.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck
Believe me, it's a bit easier on you now. When I gave the Jee last year, Board marks were counted too for Mains. So, we had to manage between both the preparations compulsorily. Board marks, apart from the 75% eligibility has no direct impact on Jee Advanced.
So, I assume you wish to score great in Boards because you want a good, untainted academic record. Well, I managed to score 94% in Maharashtra State board in HSC. But that was not because of being regular in board studies, rather being regular with your Jee preparations. You can cover the board syllabus in last 2 months like I did, and come out with flying colours. And if you are preparing for Advanced, I would advise not to pay much attention on Boards for now.
I don’t know which board are you from, but if it’s CBSE, it’s a tad easy as you’ll anyway study Ncert for Mains. If you are from a State board, you still will have much ease on getting the concepts easily because of your Jee preparations. So don’t think about ‘managing’ boards for now, save that for later. Getting a wonderful AIR gives much more pleasure rather than scoring very high in Boards. Think of what matters in the long run, and prioritize accordingly. All the best!
Hello there
For competition like jee you just can't say that 1800 or 18000 are enough students to see yourself that where you stands.
That purely depends upon the domain of the students you're taking might be not be very good then you can excel in that particular domain and sing your Excellency in that domain will surely make your preparation down.
And if you really interested to computer self then you can join many mock tests which are of all India level and can so your potential with very much students. And lastly I want to say that be confident and you can crack any exam with hard work and dedication.
Best of luck!
Thank you!

Dear Student,
Action Plan to Prepare for JEE Main 2022
Study a chapter and understand the concepts. NCERT books are good for this.
While studying, make sure to note important points and formulas. This short notes will be useful during revision.
After studying a chapter or topic, check how much you can recollect and to what extent you have understood the topic.
Then practice questions based on the topic studied. While practising do not go for the solution directly. Try to solve yourself, make mistakes and then correct it. This step will help you to know how to crack JEE Main .
Make sure to give a JEE Main mock test after completing the subject. Similarly ensure that you appear for as many mock tests as you can so that you can analyse your preparation levels, understand where you are making the mistakes
Use the analysis to know your weak areas and concentrate on improving while revising.
Be wise and Revise - Without revision, it is difficult to crack any exam especially one like JEE Main. You can only improve if you revise.
Clear all your concepts, doubts. Never leave a question unanswered in your mind.
Put the brake and take a break - While studying is good, it's not wise to do it continuously. So take some time off to refresh your mind before you start again. You can listen to music, play games or do what eases your brain. Physical exercise for half an hour or an hour helps in boosting the memory. Eat right.
