how can i start IIT jee preparation 2023 from now after getting cbse result .to secure above 200 marks in iit jee 2023

Tanmay V 3rd Aug, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

As you might be knowing IIT JEE (JEE Mains and Advanced) is a national level entrance exam for getting into IITs, so being such a prestigious exam , it demands a preparation of that level.

You'll  have to adapt various new skills, as these two years of preparation  would teach you. You'll  have to learn time management, persistence, consistency and various other things.

Keep your foundation strong , if maths and science of previous classes are foundation.

Now once you begin with your class 11 you'll  learn and perceive some inferences about each subject.

CHEMISTRY:

Class 11 chemistry  is base for various concepts taught in class 12., so do it well , understand all concepts very well. Also if you get a good grip on chemistry in class 11 itself , it might become your scoring subject .Try to understand all concepts thoroughly.

BOOKS FOR CHEMISTRY:

RC Mukherjee(Physical Chemistry)

NCERT(For Inorganic Chemistry)

OP Tandon(For Organic Chemistry)

MATHS:

You'll  realize IIT JEE Maths is no where near school level mathematics.

PRACTICE PRACTICE & PRACTICE !!!!!

When you do practice  certain amount of questions in particular topic , you'll  start gaining  the approach & thought process needed for this.

Understand the theory well.

BOOKS :

RD Sharma - MAthematics for IIT JEE (for theory as well as practicing questions)

Cengage series for maths- (practicing questions).

PHYSICS:

DO GIVE ENOUGH  TIME TO THEORY!!!!!!

In physics try to understand and grasp the derivations of formulae, note down about each and every element of formula, how it can be used in questions.try to go through Solved examples  first.

BOOKS  FOR PHYSICS:

HC Verma Concepts of PHYSICS - (For theory as well as practicing questions)

DC Pandey (Volume 1-5)  : (For questions)

MOST IMPORTANTLY DON'T  HESITATE TO ASK DOUBTS!!!!!!

Clear all your doubts with all over teachers in all 3 subjects, because if you don't  do so , they'll  pile up and it'll  create a problem for you for understanding things better.

physics wallah jee preparation ke liye sufficient hai. sirf physics wallah ke paid course se padhkar jee crack kiya ja sakta hai.

Shja 1st Aug, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

The answer is may be you can and may be you cannot. It depends on your how head strong you are. You should take these decisions wisely. Paying for any course won't ensure you a seat in NIT's and IIT's. If you really want to spend money on your preparation you should join reputed institutions like Vidyamandir, FIITJEE, Aakash. You need to study on your own and think of a course as your secondary help. If you think this way you will definitely ace the exam. It's your choice at the end of the day.

Hope this Helps!

How we can manage the difficulty level of math in jee preparation? how we can overcome from this

Anushri Varshney 24th Jul, 2021

Dear candidate,

Understanding the depth and the difficulty level is equally good because it helps you to understand with a clear vision in which you are lagging. So, do not need to worry. Many candidates are facing this issue but stills motivated themselves to be in the run for sinning the dream seat.

What you need to do is to give some more time for the mathematics for JEE mains because the questions that came in the maths section is difficult. I have personally experienced this. Make a proper timetable with more time for Maths only.

  • see, if you think that your other subjects are good then you can reduce their time and add that time in the mathematics portion so that you can solve more questions and understand concepts easily.
  • After that solve all the pyq with good quality questions that are being asked in JEE mains examination
  • If you are feeling any issues then revise the concept again with the understanding of it.
  • Make some short and Apt notes for last-minute revision.

Do these steps and free yourself from the tensions and stress. Also, why taking stress when you can not predict your future happenings. So, eat healthily and study smartly.

Wishing you very good luck :)

I have completely wasted my 11th class and now i have completed my 12th class just like that but I want to Crack Jee but my basics are so weak. But I am confident that i can rectify my mistakes in 6-7 months for IIT JEE preparation. Can i take a drop?

chandni deb 22nd Jul, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

taking a drop is a very serious decision to take, as you have to consider various different factors. So kindly view all your options before taking a drop. If you are confident that you will utilize your time well and prepare thoroughly for the examination you may take a drop. If you take a drop year, make sure you are studying for a good number of hours each day, study for as many hours as you would go to school for. Make efficient use of your time. Complete your syllabus on time and keep ample time for revision.

How to start IIT jee preparation in class 11

Tanmay V 19th Jul, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

See 11th class is very important stage of IIT JEE preparation journey. All the concepts you'll learn in 11th class are basics for concepts in 12th class. So you should get acquainted with all subjects and topics very well.

See Quadratic equations and trigonometry you learn in 11th class would help in calculus in 12th class.

Chemical bonding, periodic table are base of chemistry and various concepts in organic chemistry depends on these.

Physics also you should have a great grip on physics.

So now you are in 11th class, try to make a great schedule monthly as well as weekly for each subject, and try to execute your plan daily.

DON'T HESITATE TO ASK DOUBTS!!!!!

Ask all your doubts with your teachers and clear them, or later on they'll compile.

11th class is best time to build up the right approach for problem solving.

Try to do as many numericals as you can, set a daily quota of questions in each subject that you'll be doing.

Do these with a timer , this would help you get comfortable with time pressure and help you in exam.

Now coming on to your question as mentioned by you, your scores are improving. Keep practicing.
Cracking JEE is not so easy. Every year lakhs and lakhs of candidates try to crack these exams and only best among them get selected. For cracking these exams, you need a lot of practice. If you are getting some doubts regarding your subject or if you are unable to understand some concepts, then you can join some good coaching, wherein your doubts are actually getting solved in person. If no, then you can refer to some other free sources for understanding concepts.
Again, JEE Mains is all about consistent practice and dedication. I would suggest you to solve last 20 years question papers and sample papers so that you can get a clear idea about the questions that are asked in such exams. Also keep giving mock tests so that you can learn from it can improve on your scores. Since you are in class 11th, you have ample of time to make your concepts strong.
With constant practice, you can surely make it.
