Is GATE exam is mandatory for all the government exams which will applicable to the ECE people or entrance exam is sufficient for the government jobs.?

Rhea Kapoor 13th Dec, 2021

Hello There!

No, only those jobs in whose notification they give us information like recruitment is through GATE, give job through GATE. Every year some new govt. jobs recruit through GATE and some takes their own objective, conventional exam or only personal interview for selecting their employees.

Many organisations like DRDO,NPCIL,INSTITUTE OF PLASMA RESEARCH select student for interview through GATE score and final selection is only based on interview marks.

Hope this helps

jobs after BSC forestry in India

mrinalini048 21st Jan, 2022

Hey!

The Bachelor of Science in Forestry is a four-year full-time undergraduate programme that teaches students to many facets of forestry and related specialisations. There are eight semesters in the B.Sc. in Forestry programme. This undergraduate Forestry course teaches students about new plantation techniques, old plantation management, wildlife ecosystem protection, and how to avoid destroying endangered habitats. As part of the curriculum, students will get academic and practical experience in forestry and related areas. Those interested in flora and fauna will benefit from a B.Sc. in this field. Candidates must be enthusiastic about making the world a greener place, cherish going on field trips, and be adaptable to changing conditions. They should be concerned about global concerns and how to address them.

Scope:

The Indian Government's Forest Department has plenty of job opportunities for B.Sc. Forestry graduates. Many of the tests conducted by the federal government are accessible to the public. In various areas of the federal government, they may be needed as part of the employment process. Forestry graduates are qualified to sit for UPSC examinations in order to be considered for posts in the government such as IAS, IPS, and other roles. This program's main purpose is to train students for careers as foresters. The B.Sc. Forestry programme was created to provide students with an awareness of the most up-to-date forestry procedures.

Students can pursue postgraduate degrees in the same field, such as an M.Sc. or PhD in Forestry or Agricultural Science. This will extend your horizons even more by allowing you to pursue higher-paying jobs.

Below mentioned are the Career Options after B.Sc. Forestry:

Employees who have finished a B.Sc. Forestry programme are employed by a large number of Indian firms. The educational credentials and skills of B.Sc. Forestry graduates determine their employment and categorization. Companies hire them for the following jobs and roles. Some of the most well-known employment businesses are listed here.

  • Fertilization, planting, watering, cultivation, and harvesting of crops are all overseen by farm managers. Farm managers assess current activities, crops, animals, workers, and financial records and make improvements as needed. They ensure that all employees adhere to the company's health and safety policies.
  • Forester: A forester works to protect animals by cutting trees and creating new forest areas in order to preserve their natural habitats. A forester prepares the creation of an original wood plan to guarantee the conservation of natural resources. He or she is in charge of enforcing forestry laws.
  • Agricultural Manager: Agricultural managers promote the development of crops, animals, and other goods that may be sold to businesses or people.
