is CiviL has more jobs vacancies than computer science in india in government sector? i am confused because of my guardian said that civil has more government vacancies than CS ..CS branch has only vacancies in private sector out of india

Subhrajit Mukherjee 26th Oct, 2021

Its true that if you see the Government vacancies for different engineering divisions, then Civil Engineering surely have quite a good number of vacancies available. So if you wish to go in government sector then Civil Engineering undoubtedly is a good sector but in private sector the field don't have that much of a pay. The salary packages are low and the job profiles are not that great. As a result that way CSE get a edge but the vacancies in Government sector for CSE is quite low.

Hi, I have done my graduation(bcom)in the year 2020 and than I have taken 1year drop. Now Im confused what should I do (Mba from middle level college Or preparation of govt bank jobs)I belong to obc category? Plz guide me.

Sudeshna Dutta 18th Sep, 2021

Dear aspirant, Greetings.

I hope everything in your life is going well right now.

In order to maximise your chances of obtaining an MBA, you should restrict your search to just the most renowned schools. Because it is here where real, industry-standard MBA programmes are taught. As a consequence, I would suggest the following three things to you: 1.

1. If you intend to pursue an MBA, make it a point to visit top-tier schools as often as possible.

2. Attempt to get a position with a government bank while simultaneously studying for MBA admissions exams. The content and approach to the CAT have remained mostly unchanged since its inception. Although it is true that obtaining jobs in government banks is tough, I encourage you to give it your best effort and to apply for other government examinations as well.

I hope you were successful in finding the answer to your question. If you have any queries or issues, please do not hesitate to contact us. I wish you the best of luck!

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

If at all you want to do MBA, your focus should only be on the top most college. Because that is actually where real, industry-standards MBA is taught. SO I would advise you three things:

1. If at all you want to do MBA, focus on the top colleges.

2. Prepare for govt bank jobs and focus on MBA entrance exams too. Mostly the syllabus and strategy remains the same for CAT. (I do understand that its not easy to crack govt bank jobs but give your best shot and try for other govt examinations too).

Hope that you got the answer to your question. Feel free to comment back incase of any doubts. All the Best!

Greetings, aspirant.

I hope everything is going well for you.

If you intend to pursue an MBA, you should limit your search to just the most prestigious institutions. Because it is at this location where genuine, industry-standard MBA programmes are taught. As a result, I would recommend three things to you:

1. If you want to pursue an MBA, make a point of attending top-tier institutions.

2. Prepare for government bank employment while also concentrating on MBA admission examinations. For the most part, the curriculum and approach for the CAT remain the same. (I realise that getting into government bank positions is difficult, but give it your best shot and try for other government exams as well.)

I hope you were able to find the solution to your query. Please feel free to respond if you have any questions or concerns. Wishing you the best!

I m a government employee but my family income is less then 8 lakh per annum. Can i be eligible for ews quota for the other government jobs.

Purbayan Chatterjee 11th Sep, 2021

Hi Shubhangi,

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in India is a subcategory of people belonging to the Economy Based Un-Reserved Category having an annual family income less than INR 8 lakhs and who do not belong to any category such as SC/ST/OBC.

Also, to get reserved under EWS category there are other elements as well (like you should not have any agricultural land of 5 acres and above, your residential flat should not be of 1000 sq ft, etc.)

If you fulfil all these criteria, then you're definitely eligible for EWS quota.

Hope this helps.
