jobs
hi,
see you can give gate exam on any paper apart from your graduation branch streams. candidates are eligible to apply for any of the gate paper , irrespective of their stream in engineering. so you may appear in gate exam from Computer science stream. now coming to college admission for m.tech, some of the institute are strict about the b.tech streams for admission to m.tech. like iit Kharagpur offers m.tech cs admission to only students of b.tech cs back ground, where iit bombay offers admission to any branch of students appearing for gate in cse stream.
so you need to check the eligibility once the results out and counselling begins.
hope you understand.

See if you can acquire good spoken as well as writing skills in Japanese then yeah! you will have good employment in the tourism industry, transcription industry, lingual support agencies as well as you can be teachers in universities or colleges where Japanese language course is available. Also as you will be a graduate you can also opt for other government job examinations etc. Also sometimes IT companies hire bilingual staffs to get lingual support for business deals. As japanese don't prefer english as a languages so for this also you will have good scope.

Dear Student,
Girls can't join Indian Navy or Indian Airforce just after 12th, they need to complete their graduation first then only she will be eligible to join any defence force through CDS, AFCAT, INET or SSC-tech entry, before that they will not be eligible.
There is one option for the girls just after 12th if she wants to serve in the medical department. MNS entry is for girls where the qualification is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English as compulsory subject. You can apply that form if you wants to pursue bsc nursing and they will post you in various Army hospital.

Hi Aspirant,
The eligibility of distance education student for job in a private company purely depends on the that company or position that you are referring to. Most of the private companies prefer a full-time degree student. When you would be applying for jobs, then these companies have a separate block asking whether you have done a full-time degree or distance learning. So before applying for jobs, it is recommended to check whether they accept a distance education learner or not.
Basically saying, there are few companies that accept distance education but there are some companies too who only accept full-time degree.
Good luck!!!
see public sectors undertaking organization are considered one of the best company for work in India. however companies like indian oil, ongc, bharat heavy electricals, power grid, posoco, BEL, Airport authorities of India hires candidates based on gate score. now see the work position and culture differs as per company regulation and projects. some times you have to relocate at a rural place.
however as per fresher salary at top mncs in India psus pays 3-4 times better and have others benefits like quarter, health insurance, DA etc.
so if you are enthusiastic enough to work for psu, do take GATE exam seriously and prepare for it while at second year of b.tech course.
now coming to cutoff, cutoff score of gate exam varies every year and depends on number of vacancy available in any particular organization.
scoring 90+ marks out of 100 in gate exam you have decent chances for psu calling.
