Most government colleges have cutoff percentiles much higher than this, usually above 85–90 for even less competitive branches. So, with your score, your chances are very low for any government or centrally funded institutions through JoSAA or CSAB.

However, some private engineering colleges may still offer admission based on JEE Main qualification alone, or through their own management quota or entrance processes. With a JEE Main rank of 83,472, getting into VIT Mumbai in CAP Round 2 under the OMS (All India) category is not possible. In recent years, the cutoff for branches like Computer Engineering in CAP Round 2 was around 4,500 to 5,000. Since your rank is much lower, chances are almost negligible.
