JEE Advanced obc ncl rank11051 to obc ncl women rank kitne hogi

Anushree Thakare 13th Jun, 2025

Hello,

In JEE Advanced , the OBC-NCL women's rank is typically lower than the overall OBC-NCL rank. If a candidate's overall OBC-NCL rank is 11051 , their rank within the OBC-NCL women category could be around 1051 - 2105 depending on the number of women candidates in that category.

Thank you!!

JEE MAINS PERCENTILE - 82 OBC NCL RANK - 89000+ CRL RANK - 2 lakh something I am from West Bengal Any college recommendation? Also any chance in NIT Durgapur?

OISHEE BANERJEE 13th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant!

With an 82 percentile in JEE Mains and an OBC-NCL rank of around 89,000, getting admission into NIT Durgapur will be quite difficult, especially for popular branches like Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechanical. These branches usually close much earlier for both general and OBC-NCL categories under the home state quota.

However, you might have a slim chance in less preferred branches like Biotechnology, Metallurgical, or Mining Engineering, particularly during the CSAB special rounds. So it's still worth applying and keeping those rounds in mind. Sometimes unexpected vacancies open up.

Apart from NIT Durgapur, you should also explore other options like private engineering colleges in West Bengal that accept JEE Main scores. A few good ones include Techno India University, IEM Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology, and UEM Kolkata. They have decent infrastructure and placements, and admission is generally more flexible with ranks in this range.

If you also appeared for WBJEE, that could offer you more opportunities in state colleges.

Stay positive and keep your options open during counselling process and don't lose hope. All the best!

I got 69% in 12th and 79 percentile in JEE Mains, Should I qualify for IIIT

Vasundhra 10th Jun, 2025

Dear Candidate ,
With 69% in 12th boards and 79 percentile in JEE Mains , your chances of getting into a top IIIT are limited , but admission may still be possible in newer or lower -ranked IIITs under certain conditions . If you are from a reserved category , you may qualify for a seat in newer IIITs through JoSAA or CSAB special rounds . If you are from the general category , chances are lower but you may still try for spot round admissions or private engineering colleges with IIIT level academics.

These are not 100% accurate so you just have chances to get into one of these. You may want to check the cutoffs individually. This is a rough figure for you because at the end it depends on various factors like the cutoffs, no, of candidates and etc. Below mentioned is the link where you can find more details about which colleges you might get under this rank. I Got 27015 rank ews in jee mains ther is any chance to get iiits and nits ? In CSE

gopi 8th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

I do think you stand a decent chance to get CSE in some lower ranked NITs, IIITs, GFTIs because you have a JEE Main rank of 27,015 in the EWS category and the chances improve for home state quota or in the JoSAA rounds 5-6. I do not think you are going to get CSE in the top NITs, i.e., Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal and you aim to get CSE in some of the below-mentioned institutions:

  • IIITs: IIIT Una, IIIT Nagpur, IIIT Bhopal, IIIT Ranchi.
  • NITs: NIT Mizoram, NIT Sikkim, NIT Meghalaya (CSE branch and related branches).
  • GFTIs: Assam University, Gurukula Kangri University and other newer GFTIs with CSE branches.
