I Got 27015 rank ews in jee mains ther is any chance to get iiits and nits ? In CSE

gopi 8th Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

I do think you stand a decent chance to get CSE in some lower ranked NITs, IIITs, GFTIs because you have a JEE Main rank of 27,015 in the EWS category and the chances improve for home state quota or in the JoSAA rounds 5-6. I do not think you are going to get CSE in the top NITs, i.e., Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal and you aim to get CSE in some of the below-mentioned institutions:

  • IIITs: IIIT Una, IIIT Nagpur, IIIT Bhopal, IIIT Ranchi.
  • NITs: NIT Mizoram, NIT Sikkim, NIT Meghalaya (CSE branch and related branches).
  • GFTIs: Assam University, Gurukula Kangri University and other newer GFTIs with CSE branches.

Tanisha chaudhary 8th Jun, 2025

HEY THERE!!!

  1. If you encounter an "incorrect data" error while checking your JEE Advanced 2025 result, first verify that all your entered details—such as your roll number and date of birth—are accurate.
  2. If the issue persists, consider accessing the site through a different browser, as technical glitches can sometimes be browser-specific.
  3. Should the problem continue, it is advisable to contact the official JEE Advanced helpdesk for further assistance.

I am gen category with 86.4percentile in jee mains can i get nit calicut i hv 74percent in 12 boards

OISHEE BANERJEE 13th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant!

Thanks for sharing your details.

Unfortunately, for General category candidates, the minimum eligibility for admission into NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JEE Mains is 75% marks in Class 12 or being in the top 20 percentile of your board (whichever is lower).
Since you have 74%, you fall just short of the 75% rule. However, if your board’s top 20 percentile cutoff is lower than 74%, you might still be eligible. You'll need to check the CBSE/State Board top 20 percentile cutoff for 2024 or 2025, once it’s published.

With 86.4 percentile, your CRL rank would be around 1.3 to 1.5 lakh, approximately. For NIT Calicut, being a well-ranked and in-demand NIT, the cutoff for General category students is usually much higher (percentiles above 97 for CSE and above 92–95 even for lower branches like Production or Civil). So, with your percentile, it’s very unlikely to get NIT Calicut, especially in general category.

So to conclude:

  • You may not be eligible for NITs unless the top 20 percentile rule works in your favor.

  • Even if eligible, your chances at NIT Calicut are very low with this percentile.

  • You should explore other options like private colleges that accept JEE scores, state counselling, or universities like Shiv Nadar, UPES, or Amrita, where your score might still help.

All the best!

what if my JEE main score is 11500 in ST category

Rupsa Banerjee 16th Jun, 2025

Dear aspirant,

If you have secured a score of 11500 as an ST category candidate then congratulations for your rank and efforts. With this rank you have a pretty good chance of getting into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs , especially in the less competitive branches like civil, chemical, metallurgy etc. You might even get core branches like Mechanical Or Electrical in newer NITs. But it might be a bit tough to get a seat if you're aiming for top NITs or top branches like CSE or ECE. For more information you can check this link.

Im not getting My JEE advanced result It was showing like incorrect data but all the information I provided was correct only

OISHEE BANERJEE 15th Jun, 2025

Hey! That sounds frustrating, but don’t worry — sometimes the result page shows "incorrect data" due to small issues like mismatched details or server glitches.

First, double-check the following:

  • Your JEE Advanced roll number is entered exactly as it appears on your admit card.

  • Make sure your date of birth format matches what they ask (usually DD-MM-YYYY).

  • Enter the mobile number or email ID exactly like you used during registration.

If everything is correct and it’s still not working, it might be a temporary issue with the website. Try clearing your browser cache or using a different device or browser. Sometimes the servers are overloaded right after results are released.

If the issue continues, it’s best to contact the JEE Advanced helpdesk through the official contact details given in your admit card or brochure. They can reset or verify your login.

Hope it gets sorted soon! Good luck!

I got 95.525 percentile in JEE mains which nit or iiit or cfts eligible

harsh singh 7th Jun, 2025

With 95.525 percentile in JEE Mains, you can get admission in some NITs, IIITs, or CFTIs, mostly in lower-demand branches like Civil or Mechanical.

Top NITs and popular branches may be tough. Check previous cutoffs and attend all counseling rounds for best chances.
