JoSAA
Hello Aspirant,
Considering that you have mentioned your OBC rank because OBC rank is to be considered for allotment, if it is CRL rank then kindly correct me in the comment section below.
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2021 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that the closing OBC rank for National Institute of Technology Raipur in 2021 was around 31k so with the mentioned OBC rank you have very less or almost no chances to get National Institute of Technology Raipur. Also you have very less chances in CSAB.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx
https://admissions.nic.in/CSABSpl/CSABSplReg/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Main score or rank you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so now you can check whether you have qualified for JEE-Advance 2022 or not, JEE-Main 2022 qualifying cut-offs are enlisted below :-
==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 88.4121383 percentile
==>> GEN-EWS - 63.1114141 Percentile
==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 67.0090297 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 43.0820954 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 26.7771328 Percentile
==>> PwD - 0.0031029 Percentile

Thank you
Hope this information helps you.
yes if you clear the jee advance you can take admission in IITs.
for JOSAA counselling you must atleast clear the JEE MAIN.
Hey Rupam, at 44 percentile you will have a CRL rank of around 572880 - 644000 which would not fetch you any colleges in the JoSAA Counselling, with OBC category and final round even. You can try participating in the CSAB Counselling, but even here the chances are scarce and you would still need to have other options.
You can either sit for the consortium exam of your respective state and then join the state govt. college, or if there is provision for spot round in your state govt. engg. college you can apply in it too. See available colleges at your rank here: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp
Hope it helps, put rest of your queries in the comments, thanks!
No, JEE-Main 2022 aspirants di not require 75% in class 12th as the criteria has been relaxed for this year as well so to appear in JOSAA counselling ine needs to at least pass in all the subjects of class 12th. There is no any compulsory target of 75% to be achieved to appear in JOSAA counselling nad the same thing applies for JEE-Advance 2022.
The criteria has been lifted off in the view of pandemic, so that it will reduce some burden from aspirants
I hope you got the point.
Good Luck!!!
I think that you should leave your present college at the drop of a hat to get admission into Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam. IIITs in India are institutions of national importance, and if you talk about CSE, then the quality faculty at any IIIT is unparalleled, and even IITs lag behind some of the top IIITs in terms of faculty.
Moreover, the placement at IIIT Kottayam are splendid and in 2021, the highest package was 42 LPA with an average of 10.35 LPA, which is increasing YoY. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Hello Aspirant,Hope you are doing well
JoSSA (i.e. Joint Seat Allocation Authority) is basically an authority which has been set up by Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) of India. JoSAA is an authority which has the responsibility of managing and regulating the joint seat allocation for the admission of (JEE Mains)/ JEE (Advance) qualified candidates in its participating institutes like IITs, NITs etc. It is a single platform provided for joint allocation of seats in various institutes.
Generally,You can submit the birth certificate instead of 10th marksheet in JoSAA counselling.But some states may accept and some may not.So before going to counselling it will be better if you check with respective state's official website as what are the documents that are required.
Hope this helps you
ALL THE BEST
YES, you can take part in JOSAA Counselling even after getting enrolled yourself in any other college you get through KCET Counselling, if and only if you will clear JEE mains exam. Only those candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2022 or JEE Advanced 2022 could login and register for the JoSAA counselling procedure.
Furthermore, if you get a admission seat in any Engineering colleges Through JOSAA, then also you can defer your KCET College seat and can join the college through JOSAA Counselling.
Further, if you wish to know more about the JOSAA Counselling of admissions, then you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-counselling
KCET Counselling : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-counselling
I hope that this will help.
See even if you have not secured 75% marks but however if you are able to secure your position in top 20 percentile of your respective board's result as per the criteria of JOSAA-2023 then you will be eligible to get admission in NITs/IIITs/ CFTIs through your your JEE-Main 2023 score and also note that at this point of time It is quite difficult to say anything very sure for next year because till now no information has been released for JEE-Main 2023 but this year d efinitely you can get admission into aforesaid institutions on the basis of your JEE-Main or JEE-Advance score even if you don't have 75% in class 12th because 75% criteria has been lifted off for this year as well so now you need to just pass in all the subjects prescribed in class 12th.

Hello Aspirant
JOSAA is a common platform for admission to NITs, IIITs, IITs, Government Funded Technical Institutes, etc. A Single application and choice filling list has to be submitted to get admission through JOSAA in any of these universities.
Till 2014, CSAB was for admission to NITs, IIITs, etc. and there was separate platform for admission to IITs. But Since 2015, both of them have been merged to make the entire process more easier and simpler.
Yes, you are supposed to apply on both the platforms but you should know that JOSAA counselling and CSAB counselling are not held separately.
After completion of all round of JOSAA counselling CSAB conducts spot round on remaining seats for Nit , IIIT and GFTIs. If you have already participated in JOSAA counselling and you were not allotted a seat in any round, you can register for CSAB too.
Hope this helps
