Hello,
Yes, you can appear for mock test 1 and 2 from different laptops. Mock tests are conducted to familiarize the candidates with the Remote Proctored Test mode so that they won't face issues while attempting the actual test. During the mock test the system specifications and compatibility will also be tested so that candidates can arrange a different system if it is incompatible to take test.
Dear aspirant,
Yes you can definitely attempt the mock test through mobile but I would prefer you to use laptop and give the exam because see it just because of the environment I am telling you to give through the laptop as you will only get used to environment and will be easier for you to write the exam.
Hello Aspirant,
Yes it is compulsory. Either laptop or desktop PC with web camera either embedded in it or should be fitted separately for Remote proctored exam of VITEEE 2021 because you will be monitored by the invigilators from camera of your PC along with the camera of your smart phone because according to the guidelines released for VITEEE 2021 the candidate should have primary device as Laptop or desktop PC and secondary device should be either smartphone/tablet. They will be invigilating you and your environment with both the devices so make sure to keep your environment protected and silent otherwise if there would be any disturbance in your environment then it might lead to your disqualification.
This is the first time when VITEEE 2021 is going to be conducted in online proctored mode so according to the guidelines released by them few days back regarding the remote proctored mode,
So you should arrange both the devices before VITEEE 2021 and you can also attempt mock examination which will give you clarity of the way in which exam will be conducted on exam day. So it is much recommended to attempt the mock exam before the real examination.
Specifications for both the devices are mentioned in their notification which you can check out from the link given below :-

I would directly come to the point. So, yes you would allowed to use the internet connection of a mobile phone but just keep in mind that sit and give exam over there where connection is strong and stable. Secondly, you can also plug in the charging port to the laptop, no issues.
If you have opted for Remote Proctored Exam mode for MAT entrance examination then you can attempt the exam through laptop or desktop. If you don't have personal computer of laptop then you have to borrow a laptop or desktop from your friends or relatives or neighbors to appear for entrance examination. Without laptop or desktop you cannot appear for MAT as you have opted IBT. The system must have the required specifications.
hi,
see there is various brands laptop in market. however while selecting laptop you need to consider the hardware and software applications and their uses and work capability. I have mentioned some of the features name which would be a good programming laptop for engineering candidates:
operating system: windows 10
RAM: 4 gd or more
1TB hard disk drive
processor: INTEL i3 10TH GENERATION or above.
Yes you have to login from both the devices at the same time for appearing in VITEEE 2021.
This is the first time when VITEEE 2021 is going to be conducted in online proctored mode so according to the guidelines released by them yesterday regarding the remote proctored mode, the candidate should have two devices, primary one is Laptop/Desktop with web cam and secondary device as any smartphone with good quality front camera. They will be invigilating you and your environment with both the devices so make sure to keep your environment protected and silent otherwise if there would be any disturbance in your environment then it might lead to your disqualification.
With the help of front camera of your phone they will be invigilating you and your surroundings so that you can't do some malicious/unfair thing which can lead to your rejection/disqualification.
For your reference some extra details about remote proctored mode, In remote proctored mode you have to appear for VITTEEE 2021 from your home and you should have one device either laptop/computer with web camera because during remote proctored mode you will be under invigilation through web camera in your device and you will not be allowed to leave the exam until and unless you submit it successfully and also you cannot copy any answer from any other website because at the time of examination you will not be allowed to change the tab or window otherwise you will be disqualified from the exam. This is all about Remote proctored mode.
