No man. Ipad is no way a comparison for laptops when it comes to doing huge programming projects. There us no replacement for laptops in this area.

I agree with your point that working on PC makes things much easier for working and provides other accessories than the Laptop.

You can create your own PC Cabinet in your hotel, but you need to take proper permission from your Hostel Warden and counsellor for setting up the system, and if they agree you are confirmly allowed.

This may depend upon your college hostel. You should call them up and ask whether they will let you set up a desktop in your room and you may require to take permission for the same.

But I would suggest that having a laptop is more convenient as you can carry it around with you like when you go to the college, or library or have to travel.

But if you think you need a dekptop, then call the hostel management and ask them if you will get permission for the same.

see the laptop is not mandatory to study the b.sc agriculture course. however gh raisoni university has excellent infrastructure , lad facility, has excellent students and faculty ratio. however due to covid 19 many institute are going through only study process and candidates has to access the courses, take pdfs, documents files to read. if you have an android phone with larger screen like 5.5 inch you may also use it to study.

Yes, Mi Laptop base variant is quite good laptop especially for engineering students. But if you want to buy a laptop for some high resolution work I would suggest you go for some  other.

On the hand I would ask you to go for some laptop review on YouTube and try to find the best one as per your demands.

If you want to learn C programming language as it is teaching in your college but don't have laptop but computer, better get the programming language installed by the nearest computer center. There, the technicians will help you in setting up the programming language. Else you can make a call, put the request and the technician will do it and you will be charged for it.

As you are CSE student then the introductory courses you will have in 1st year will need a laptop support and from 2nd year it will be extremely important for hardcore coding.
