Hello prakash,
Ugc guidline has come and its upto state to state to cancle the exam or postponed, so the exams were postponed as final year students get degree in last year and companies will prefer the students who has given exams, so it will be beneficial for you, if you give exams. Intermediate students are passed based on internal marks as they are not getting degree this year and they are not in final year, so company would not visit, so there is not problem for intermediate class student.
So just focus on your studies and this is very good chance to get good marks, as you have much time to study.
So, All the best for your future.

It doesn't matter which laptop you are having. Just go with any laptop under 40000 range. You can go with any brand from HP, Dell, Lenovo,
i3 is sufficient but if you want the processor more efficient then you can choose i5. i5 is more than sufficient. Do not go for i7 as it is just a waste of money.
If you do not have any budget problem then you can go with Mac book Air. It is one of the best laptop when it comes to the battery durability.

Hey Suchith
For pursuing Bachelors of Technology (BTech), being connected to technology and gadgets becomes essential, because it drives the learning process.
This depends on your case, if you want to learn coding or any other technical skill in the starting then getting a laptop initially in BTech becomes necessary. Having a laptop will also help you in watching lectures and other study material as well.
In India, mostly universities have a Programming course in second semester and an introduction to Computer Architecture and Software in the first semester itself. That means getting laptop in the first semester would be essential for an Engineering student.
For further doubts, ask us. All the best
Hello student as you're a student of electronic and communication branch I believe you need to do hard programming on your laptop so you can purchase any laptop of your budget, but if you're planning to learn programming in future then go with Apple Mac book because it's most recommended laptop for programming or go with laptop which has specifications of 8GB RAM, 1TB HARD DISK, SSD, Battery Backup of minimum 4-6hrs and light weight.
Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
Good luck
Dear yamunadevi,
While smartphones have taken over a lot of tasks people used to do on PCS ,there are some things only a laptop can do.
There's a wide range of sizes, features and prices ,which makes choosing laptop a challenge. These are most important things to consider when choosing a new laptop.
Chromebooks are good for students .There are also windows laptops and mac books offering many features.
Some good ones under 30,000 are HP Chromebook 14,Lenovo idea pad S145,HP 15 DB1059AU , dell vostro 3468.
I hope you have got the required information.
