If a person have cleared NET examination but if he/she is not able to find any vacancy for the post of lecturer. Then what he/she should do?

pdwords Student Expert 12th Jun, 2021
Hello,

You should keep yourself updated regarding Faculty recruitment by subscribing to various job sites such as Jagran Josh, or even signing up for LinkedIn is a good option regarding this, another thing you can do for the time being is you can apply for faculty post in various edtech companies so that you can use your time judiciously, this will also enhance your teaching experience, and at the same time keep applying for vacancies in colleges, since the situation right now doesn't allow offline teaching, but once it improves you can keep your options open in terms of applying for colleges outside your state and since you're NET qualified, the certificate is acceptable all over ndia.

Abhishek Roy 2nd Jun, 2021

I would advise you to first pursue B.Sc. Mathematics in your Bachelors Degree, followed by Masters or if you wish Integrated Masters (BSc+MSc), then PhD from some of the Reputed Higher Technical Institutions abroad or in India like Top IITs, IISERs, IISc Bangalore, Indian Statistical Institute, CMI and many others in field of Mathematics, Computational Studies, Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Quantum Computing, Number Theory, Operational Research or other relevant Mathematics Research Fields.
