In which type of college, a person will teach after cracking rpsc lecturer exam? Means can they teach in private college or university?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 8th May, 2021

Hi Aspirant!

RPSC lecturer exam is conducted by the Rajasthan public service commission. The candidate who gets selected after cracking exam and interview have to carry out certain responsibilities as per the alloted post. It is candidate's choice if he/she wants to join private job or government job. But many candidates prefer government jobs as it has many perks and benefits such as paid holidays, child safety, medical facilities, bonus, govt accomodation, etc.

But there is no restriction on candidate to choose governement or private job, he/she can choose as per their will.

Hope I answered your query, thankyou!

The eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have completed masters in the subject they wish to pursue the teaching role with the minimum of 55% marks. In your case, you have to choose the subject human anatomy or biotechnology in your higher studies.

After your class 12th, you have to opt for bachelors in science in the subject relevant to your mentioned subjects or same.

Hello aspirant !

TC - Transfer certificate is a document signed by the head of a school or institution signifying that the student has fulfilled the education requirements of their locality.

You need to contact college authorities with a notarized affidavit that you have lost the TC.

This might help you.

If i choose chemistry hons in bsc zoology and botany as subsidiary...what job i get... will i become lecturer?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 10th Nov, 2020

With chemistry , its better to have Mathematics as a subsidiary subject. Many state Universities demand for Mathematics as subsidiary subject for the admission of MSc. Also in chemistry you will have Quantum Mechanics. So if you have Mathematics it will be easier to learn such tough topics.

Now coming to your question , Yes you can be a lecturer provided you have to pursue MSc and then PhD. After that you have to qualify NET Lectureship exam to get a full fledged job of Professor/Lecturer.

I hope my answer helps you. Wish you all the very best for your future endeavors!

Hello sir/madam, can one be a lecturer in a college after distance learning under any recognised university?

pdwords Student Expert 7th Nov, 2020
Hello,

In order to become assistant professor/lecturer candidates need to appear for NET or state levels SET, for which eligibility criteria is
passed master's degree in relevant discipline with 55% aggregate from a recognized university, in case of reserved category there is relaxation of 5%.

Now, if the University from where you're pursuing your post graduation is recognized by UGC and the degree is valid such as IGNOU then you are eligible to appear for NET or state level SET as per the criteria aforementioned, and after qualifying any of these exams, you'll become eligible to apply for the post of assistant professor.

To provide you an example if you're pursuing any pg degree from IGNOU which is a valid and recognized university hence you are eligible to appear for NET/SET if you fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned above, and there on you can  assistant professor in college
