Yes,there are some changes made in the exam pattern.This includes reducing the number of questions asked from the current 200 to 150. Also, the question paper will now include comprehension-based questions from Quantitative Techniques, English, Current Affairs, Deductive Reasoning and Logical Reasoning sections.

Legal aptitude is included in the paper along with English (Comprehension & grammar-based),Logical Reasoning,Elementary Mathematics,General Knowledge and Current Affairs

CLAT syllabus has been changed and the official syllabus will be released along with the official notification in the month of December. To give you a gist of the changed syllabus,

The no.of questions asked will be reduced from 200 to 120/125 but the time duration will be the same

English: There will be no more direct vocabulary questions

GK: Static GK will be removed and only your knowledge on current affairs will be tested

Mathematics: Only DI based questions.

Logical Reasoning: More emphasis on critical reasoning questions

Legal Aptitude: No Legal GK questions but the reasoning questions will remain.

CLAT will have comprehensive based questions on Quantitative Techniques, English Current affairs, Deductive Reasoning and Logical reasoning. You may be tested on your proficiency in reading texts and inferential reasoning. These in a way have legal aptitude connection. The CLAT 2020 notification will be released in the last week of December and by then we should have a clear idea.

Legal Aptitude is further divided into 3 sub-subjects that is Legal General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning and Legal Facts. Legal aptitude is one of the five subjects of the CLAT entrance examination. It has 50 questions in it with 1 mark each for one question. Use books like Pearson it's a great one. And try to solve as much as Mock papers as you can as you will learn a lot from them too.
